Hey I love the car, but point is that when I test drove the car before buying it I told the showroom person that I'm willing to give up some mileage, but I cannot give up the power angle. Unfortunately, it gives power but by then its a wee bit late. I was in the hills, where the 2nd gear is the most important one. But I was reminded of the Indica days ... wait till you reach 3000 rpm. And till then burn the fuel. It could also be a clutch & acclerator cable adjustment issue ... so I will get this checked in this week. But other than that, the AC simply rocks @48 degrees, the drive is superbly cushioned in the heavy suspension, and once you get going, there ain't no stopping. I touched 145 kmph, but traffic forced me to abandon 160 ... which the Fusion seems very capable of. Well ... in a nutshell at this price you dont get a beast ... this is as close as I can get to a power drive without spending at least 2 more lacs.
