Maruti SX4 is Suzuki SX4 in Australia. Here it a hatchback, as a cross between SWIFT and the VITARA. It has a 2 litre engine and uses 205/60R16 tyres(16 inch). The maruti has 15(VXi) and 16(ZXi) inch tyres.( Bigger the tyre, more the friction, more the fuel consumption).
The SX4 in Australia has a Kerb weight of 1285 (1200 for the Maruti). The Suzuki SX4 here gives a mileage of 8.5lire/100kms.

I guess the model in India, since it has slightly lesser weight and a 1.6 engine should give a mileage of about 7.5-8litre/100km (around 12-14kms).
