Hi,

It has been only a month since I have bought my Zen Estilo Vxi Model on 19th Feb 2007 and I am alread obsessed with the car. It is just too good to be true. The comfort level is fantastic.

The interiors are just perfect for any kind of color of the car. The Exteriors are exactly the same as the Japanese model of Suzuki Wagon MR model.

The mileage is good i.e. around 13 to 14 kms/ltr in the city and around 16-17kms/ltr on the highway. The maximum speed which one can achieve without getting the car to wobble would be somewhere close to 120 kms/hr.

Since the front engine space is less one gets a good judgement on the road. There is absolutely no sound of the engine and the gears are also very very flexible.

If one can put it in one sentence " It is a great car to be in love with".

Cheers,

Zubin Sanjaana.

    Hi,
I am Rahul. I am planning to go for Estilo VXI.
    Small queries :
    What about AC performance
what about pick up if gets fully loaded?
& also about over all performance.
    Can I go for it?

  3. on 17 Jul, 2007 at 10:27 AM Zubin

    Hi Rahul,
Congratulations on making a wise decision. The AC performance is far better than you would expect. You will not need to put the AC on full even in case of a fully loaded car. Pick up is no doubt very good even with all the seats occupied since it has a 1.16 BHP engine which is very very powerful for a small car like Estillo. Overall performance is good. The mileage portion initially will be about 14 to 16 kms in city but will increase over a period of time. A very smooth pick up.Regd

    hi rahul,
i am confused between the santro xo and the zen estilo vxi model. i have taken the test drives for both and found both equally good. which one should i go for? which is the best in terms of mileage, back seat leg room and the maintenance?

if you really need more space in back seat, go for Santro, for all other features, Zen estilo is the winner. You will get literally luxury car features in Zen at he same price. Santro hasn't modified their design/interiors from the launch of Xing. So if you want to catch-up with latest design (in India) go for zen, else sing the Xing.

    Hi,

I am planning to buy VXi ... but heard that at 100+ KM/hr its bit vibrating..Also, some reviews states that it has a problem in its gears specially 5th...
I liked the car and its specifications... but now sure about this vibrating feature..

    Any advice is welcome..

    Hi all,

This is Sumit and I bought the Zzen Estilo LXI Modelcar on 20/2/07. The problems remain while shifting to and from 5th Gear, less space in backseat. Else a wonderful City car. AC works real good, gives me 13km/ ltr in Pune without AC, in highway with AC IT IS 15/16 KM/ LTR. The Car Vibrates beyond 110 km/hr on highway. The Front seat space is very good. It allows the Driver a good upright position. No maintenance issues. The Car has no engine noise.

Went for the test drive in both the i10 and estilo . Found estilo more comfortable . Could you still suggest me which one to go for best on the performance and all .

This is Gerry from RBI. I have bought my Estilo on Feb16,08. Done nearly 1000kms.The overall performance is good. Its gr8 driving on the highway between speeds of 80-90.Absolutely noiseless.

    Hi Nandan,
It is good to know that you are buying a car for yourself. It is indeed very difficult to decide when you test drive two different cars. What I would advice is to go for Zen Estilo since you said that it is more comfortable.
Secondly i10 is nothing but a more compact model of Santro. Hence my advice would be still to go in for a Zen estilo. The comfort level and the power steering are just fantastic. You would never feel tired even after driving long distances.

    Hi

I'm planning to purchase a small car for my father (67) who was driving Maruti 800 so far. I evaluated Alto 800, Estilo LXi. My father found Estilo driving comfort better. Now someone has suggested to rather go for i-10 instead of Zen estilo. Other thought is that recent petrol proce hike makes us think twice going back to Alto option. Any idea of fuel comparison btweem the three cars? and which one is overall value for money?
    Rgds

    Hi Suresh,
First of all I would like to congratulate you for being in the Maruti family. As far as the fuel efficiency is concerned Zen Estillo (14kms in city and 17kms on highway) is almost at par with Alto As for the i10 the fuel efficiency is lesser than Zen estillo. You also have an advantage of hugh boot space in zen estillo as compared to i10 or Alto.

Considerring that your father is in his late 60`s he should have a car which is more comfortable to drive and I am all for Zen Estillo
