Pros : Cheap to maintain & can be serviced anywhere(that fits 'cause it need maintenance everyday)..
Cons : Everthing else... including the everyday checkup..

Nothing modern about it.. should've discontinued long time back.. it carried on for the only reason that no other standard automakers were around that time...  nothing but a rusting junk on wheels..  HM Ambassador is nothing but the same Morris Oxford of the 1950's(now found in Vintage Car museums in London)with some cosmetic changes put in..HM,for all this while, was  trying to fool us indian with the same old technology from the sixties.. with no research & development, no safety & reliability... and taking the customers for granted..

    I do not know why people still buy it- except Govt Officials, who need them to show their postion of power to the rural mass by riding in white ambassador. Ofcourse I know one chief executive by name D Gupta, who bought a Ambassador in 1999 , by when all other cars were available. What a junk

    no matter whatever hi class ultra modern car comes and goes .Ambassador will continue to live . its is the only car made for India .

    amitava & nithin, u r forgettin wer u came from. u've to see we people still admire it coz its the only one left...the last piece. lotsa feelins r der for this car....may not be that peak in tech but it still sells....its a part of indian life..it has got a place f its on..so atleast pls dont insult it...it has got a soul unlike ny other.

    As a matter of fact in all d models of different brand cars hav some lacking or diffects. But they all r running on d road because of d users choice & taste. Ambassador is d only car who has less accidental & death rate. Regarding, comfort, safety & economy is d best rated car. Technologically it is also not bad. What else you will find 4 less price? 4 extra features it won't come 4 free, 1 has 2 pay 4 it. Like d name it has fame***AMBASSADOR*** Safety & Reliability is concern first.
