Should you EYE for it. Think 20 times.

Pros : Top class front cabin. Beats any top end sedan.
Cons : very expensive. same old engine. less ground clearance. Made as per european environment not with in

It was most eagerly awaited car. But the biggest disappointment is 1.2 engine. Not clear as to why people would switch over to i 20 from i10 when engine is same and price difference is more than one lac minimum. Things would have been different with 1.4 engine.


It does not compete swift. If price tag is considered then you would find that fight is between 1 20 ans Dzire VXi. And Dzire should be a better choice being more elegant.


Asta version is too expensive that people might go for Fabia instead.


Interior is undoubtedly topclass. But class has to co exist with economy,


Think twice before purchasing i 20. Just like me.

    You are really right. I had booked the car i20 without seeing and paid 10,000 cheque. But on 2nd january when I had seen the car and its rate which was too high and also not value for maoney. with that price I gan go for Maruti Swift Dzire top model. And I have cancelled the car of Hyundai and gone to Maruti Dzire anad booked tomorrow I will receive. Thanks the Almighty God not to purchase Hyundai i20.....Biju Johnson Baroda

    Which version of DZire have you booked? What is the mileage VXi version of DZire gives? I am in Dilema whther to buy VXi version or VDi version?

    i tink u people ae crazy luk at it interiors and features which the car gives u all tis at tis price.when u sit in it luks like sitting in a bmw its really nice and about the dezire its a waste if u buy it u will suffer and it does nt hav any gud interiors its a waste

    The desire is only extention of Dicky to swift. It is not specious then i20.The shape of the Desire is also not good.You are paying 1 lakh for only Dicky of 300 litiers extra whihc is not worth.88

    Finally, I have got Dzire VXI. I made a real gr8 and timely decision. I got the silky beauty a day before hike. It has class written all ovet it. It gives you a cool and great feeling. Sound proofing is amazing. You cant hear whats happening around you. Fitted stereo is also very sporty being two din, it seems graceful and really integrated one. Average is already more than 11 whereas my first service is still due. In 5.40 its certainly a better choice than many sedans and i20. Go for it.

    Looks and interiors of swift/dzire is not even close to i20. Power is sacrificed a bit for that and I would always ride a swift in a race with i20. If 1197 cc engine gives the same performance as it does in i10, there is not much reason not to go for it (magna, not asta). I also heard from many that mileage is not that bad (12 in city with AC).

    go for a-star/Swift/Sx4/feasta1.6/VernaD/
    santro and verna you feels good to drive.(accent-is-hype and i10 much-hyped). moreover its your observation & interest. since its your money. go for maruti...don't look for i.sha-ruk sucks 4 misleading public.
    Owning the car is very expensive (e.g-low mileage,high cost of maintenance,high ex-showroom cost),

    basically hyundia is copycat like chini from their logo to colour,interior to exterior all r copied from honda and so the pricing. they r crazy, honda far ahead of hyundia.is Indian r foolish then korean?

    go buy sx4,xylo,verna,feasta with 7lacs not i20/i40, xylo has much more fun,features & style more advance than 1.4i20 in all aspects.
    marutiritz is BAD n noto dzire.petrol

    ask for price cut.hyundai know mistake

    With 7lac you can have jazz,verna,feasta,dzire,aveo,xylo
    by putting littlemore you can have h'city. you can save money upto 1lac onpunto n upto 1.6lac on swift best sportyhatch,for primium hatch skoda fabia the one n only.supported n rated by ndtv-cnb,cnbc-cng-overdrive,zeebuzz-wheelocity,autocar,etc
    note:High power-ps at lower RPM is best combination.
    maruti ritz is BAD n no to dzire lxi-vxi-zxi-old.engine & accent-is-hype and i10 much-hyped.santro and verna are good to drive.

    ask for price cut on t20.hyundai know there mistake so relunch it with 1.4cc engine option since sales is not kicking even below of verna,xing,santro be practical.public sab janti haieee. goodies are the tools to hike product price which r of no/little use,you must understand that. we/you only need light Psteering,Pw,ac,abs,g'seat,g'shockers apart from g'service n g'quality lastly price. forother goodies you can do yourself super m'system,headlight,seat.cover,alloys,spoiler,etc

    Well people here mentioning 1.2L engine not enough for i20,I guess they have not tried the car. Guys go n get the test drive. I tried i10 & i20. i knew the engine is same and after driving i10 had expectation that i20 will not be that responsive.
    I WAS WRONG.U will never feel that the engine is same.Excllnt engine and very refined.
    Driving exprnce is amazing..which one'll never get in any Maruti. Excllnt ride,gr8 feature,best sound proofing.It wins in its class and challenges upper class.

    if u r fool it dose not mean that everyone is so. otherwise roads r full of shit-car. i hardly fined them at delhi. see monthly sales.

    I bought I20 Magna in August 2009 after lot of study with the emerging models. Its amazing to drive.Interiors are undoubtedly the best in class and the features outclass its price.With first service due in October 2009 at the moment Mileage is not good at 10.5 KMs/litre.

    -the guy abc seems to good n hitting the rite point bulls-eye. with the price of j20-1.4, you can buy thebest verna form same maker. though you have other good option Sx4/dzire.vdi/swift.vdi/feasta.1.6/verna

    i20 has really nice interiors. Its ha good space and mileage is good. I have a magna 1.2 L and its give a 12 KMPL in city and 16 KMPL on highway. But if you talk about power and punch the car lacks it. It looks like a sports car but does not carry the power.
