Poor fuel efficiency , Air Condition is not good, fit for race.

Pros : It is a really big car, has good boot space, five people can sit easily,it has good pickup racecar
Cons : verylow car,dificult togetinout,poormileage,poorA/C,steering is hard in LXmodel

The car is big , classy in its looks, it has good boot space, good seating capacity of five, good pick up good race car.


The negative aspect are the body is very low that it gets hit by pot holes or big speed breaker, not for indian villages, only 9 kmpl with ac on in city limits and only 12 kmpl in high way with a/c on, so not for middle class since poor fuel efficiency, Air conditioner is not good , this car is not for tall and fat people since getting in and out is difficult, steering in lx is ordinary so difficult to turn the car, you need to put more effort so as to turn the car.

    I have owned an esteem vxi model for three years and used it in delhi as well longdistance in the plains and the hills too.This car is a pleasure to drive and it hugs the road has great pickup and extremely manoeuvrable in the hills,it has given me upto 18 kms to alitre in plains and 16 kms to a litre in the hills.This car has amazing looks and perfect aerodynamics,in short a marvellous design.I wish Maruti company all the best for their new ventures too.

    I own Esteem vxi 2006 model , and i am very dissapointed with it its low pickup - especially in 4th gear. it takes a lot of time to accelerate

    I think this is the first time i come across a Esteem review where its mileage and AC is given as a con! Many of you will agree with me that this car is still on roads with a new look facelift and maruti is indecisive to end its life cycle becos of its value for money branding. needless to say vfm comes from its low operating costs. i have clocked 18km/lit in city conditions!!!

    mr.ashvin please stop giving wrong reviews esteem is giving 9 kmpl its fake im using esteem its giving around 14-15 with ac in city like mumbai & yes airconditioner syster is also good i think you have to check your car from authorised maruti service centre do it fast dear.
