I own a 2000 model of 5-speed 800 dx.The best feature i like in this car is its reliability.Covered almost a distance of 108512kms,the only money which I think I have spent in its maintenance is of changing the tyres thrice.Rest no other spare of the car has been changed.Where can u get such a reliability!!.I always get a mileage of 16-17kmpl in the city & 22-23kmpl on the highways with the a/c on.Even after 8 years of its ownership, u can't guess that it has already covered 1 lac kilometers.the body is glossy just as it was in the showroom.I have also tried a santro xp model of 2003.I had to sell it due to the rusting complaint...


I AM ASTONISHED AS WHY MARUTI HAS DISCONTINUED SUCH AN OUTSTANDING MODEL...I THINK,, JUST TO REDUCE A COMPETITOR FOR ITS ALTO!!!!!

    I have been useing this spledid car since 2003 October. Till date I changed the battery only.Iam very happy with my car I just cant imagin how should I sell to someone because I hug it every day morning when I clean it as a ritual of my life. This is really a trouble free car. I love my car!My car live in Kolkata.

    i bought it for a second hand from a reliable owner. he had overheating problems and some parts were changed in the engine i suppose with abt maruti in chennai. after nearly 6 months i had my engine overheated and water was boiling in the water tank. any body can suggest reasons, remedies and cost to rectify.
