I have purchased the car 10 days back after comparing


1. Laura Ambiente


2. Octavia


3. Optra Magnum LT.


Although Optra Magnum impressed me with the pick-up and features, the service stations did not give a positive feedback.  Bought the Laura because the Octavia was very dull and featureless from the inside.


Have had a troublefree 10 days of ownership.


I am impressed with the road presence and driveability of the vehicle.


The music system certainly is not upto the mark.

    Have used the car for 2 months now. I am having doubts with the fuel consumption meter. I am getting an overall economy of approx 13 per liter with normal diesel, whereas the indicator gives a no of 16+ . Anybody else with same problem?
