Great car, but I wish Skoda surveys customers to find if they are being ripped off in maintenance

   Sir, we are listening. Please be informed that the windshield drain channel clog due to dirt or leaves is one of the main causes for water seepage and it is not a common complaint. Any warranty period does not define the life of the product. Service cost is not as mentioned and the interval recommended is 7,500 kms. Any further doubts please contact srinivas.sudhir@skoda.co.in.    As per the Dealers feedback , it is 13-15 with AC in city and 17-20 with AC in highways.

   Me and my friend are planning to buy SKODA Ambiente in Bangalore. Both of us have streched our budget for this car because of its great reviews and performance.
   I was surprised to see its servicing cost, its just too much and that too at 7.5 K.

   On the top of it Skoda dealership sucks, one of the dealer in Bangalore promised me the TD of octavia and he didn't show up. Blames on only one car for TD and Bangalore traffic, can't they plan it properly.
   Compared to this i had a wonderful experience with other car dealers.

   Dear Sir,
   
   I regret to inform you that my vehicle bearing no. WB 02 U 9014 bought on 26th Nov. 2005, from your authorized Kolkata (INDIA)dealer, M/s TOPAZ MARKETING (P) LTD. was towed to the dealership workshop yesterday with the problem: "ENGINE NOT STARTING" now after inspection the dealership says that the injector pump has failed, which is very expensive part of the vehicle.
   
   It is hardly 3 months the vehicle has passed the warranty period, and I fail to understand how can such an exp

   Dear Sir,
   I totally agree with you. I have purchase skoda octavia from ahmedabad. They have changed the deaership.But both people sucks the money in paid service.
   They charge excessively & inappropriately.
   As my main door was not working with remote.They suggested change of motor costing around 11,000(eleven thousand only).I didn`t went for repair. After 8 months , without telling them previous quote, they repaired it in 500 Rs.at skoda repair facility.
   I don`t have trust in them.

    I bought a used skoda octavia from Marikar Motors Ernakulam,Kerala.Iam very sorry to tell that skoda has given the dealership to people who cannot even repair a bullock cart..

    The dealers appointed by Skoda are pathetic. Recently when my car breakdown near Pune and I phoned Nummer Eins, Mumbai for the Skoda workshop tel no at Pune, the first question I was asked was "Will you be servicing the car in Mumbai or at Pune?". Well, servicing is the last thing on my mind when my car's broken down in the midst of nowhere. Why aren't the dealers being sensitised help customers in distress? Servicing is most incompetent. I'm still waiting to hear of a good workshop for my Skod

    To put all these into a milder tone, I am appalled by the attitude of skoda dealership we have been dealing with.
    
    Since July 10th 2008, my car has been sent for repairs around 10 times and each time my car has returned with almost no work done. Either the dealership is a scamming rascal or they think that I am a complete fool.
    
    My car had water enter the airfilter on July 10th. The work that was done while it was serviced is shoddy beyond description.
