   What he said is very true i have owned the same car for a year now and no issues , keep a check on service and oil and filter change and u never regret ur decision , AWESOME car , feels like a BIG car

   So Far I had owned a Maruti Esteem, Then Hyundai Accent and Now The Fiat Palio.
   To be very honest, Palio Diesel is the best car i have come across. My of my friends told that why do you have to go for a second hand Palio after Accent, But when they drove it, they appreciated my decision. This small car has all the required features present in any big car.
   It has power, pick-up, mileage, space, economy, comfort, style, valuee for money, everything one dreams in a car.

   this is very right safity power and fuel saver all these qualities it has ilove to drive it at the speed 90 to 100 kilometers per hour and u dont believe it, i am getting 20 kilometers/L. this ultimate car,no problem in pickup with or without a.c. engine knocking problem not found even in 2 gear like any other new tata cars maruti etc. but don,t know why it is discontinued

   I always wondered what kind of fuel efficience did the Palio 1.9 diesel actully give. I always admired this vehicle. thinking of buying an second hand one, could some one plese coment.

   Pretendra,Dont even think of any other car, Palio Diesel is the best choice any car lover can make. Practical mileage in town is 17Km/L & 19 on highways. Great feel,Drive pleasure is extreme. Its a big car that looks small. Buy 1.9 & keep cause due to heavy taxes middle class cant afford to have 1900 cc anymore.

   I am using Palio D since 5 years and don't find any inconvenience except maintanance cost. I have changed battery two times, clutch plate assembly two times in the span of 50000 kilometers and all the 5 typres I have changed recently. Comparing to other brands in the same segment, it is something great and gives me great driving pleasure.

    i am planning to buy a 2003 fiat diesel 85k kms done..how much can i spend on it? i heard spares are very expensive..can some one plz advise if its a good option to go for 2nd hand palio 1.9?

    I just bought 1.9 D year 2003 for 1.9 Lakhs. I had heard good reviews on the car which made me go get it. Just few days into driving it so I think its too early for comments such as mileage and maintannce. However the car is beauty in pick-up and driving pleasure is maximum. The a/c is cool and fast. first comment : "I am loving it"

    Palio diesel is value for money. 1.9 is fairly succifient to outperform. I don't understand the fact that how can such powerful engine can deliver 17-18kmpl in the city. You can always rely on the quality of Fiat's product. Its build quality is robust and highly safe. Just because of the brand name "Fiat",the resale value is less. Ample space and the acceleration by wire eases manvourability in the city traffic. Earlier,spare parts were expensive but not it has been drastically reduced.Buy it!

    Fiat has made a mark in the diesel segment and the best selling diesel cars of other brands rely on the Fiat's new 1.3l multijet engine. In my opinion, it better to consider the Palio 1.9 if you don't intend to spend much on buying a new car.
