Stunning looks, exactly what I wanted it to be. Good interiors, good space, reliable and very fuel efficient Wagon R engine, proven Maruti after sales service, Zen brand image. Will have fantastic resale, maintenance would be the cheapest around. What else do you need from a small car?

Price is the only issue. You compare Xeta and Estilo and you will find that Xeta is offering a heck lots of features as standard and still price is so affordable. Like Wagon R, I don't find this car good value for money either.

Maruti could have set records of sales if they would have offered this car 30-40k lower. Anyways, price is not big deal, you will get back maximum in resale. ;-)

    Good review, Rajeev. I wish you could have elaborated a little more on space. I am not sure how much space Zen Estilo has inside but people tell me that it's not enough. What are your views?

    Santro is far better than Zen Estilo especially for people who often drives in the city traffic. In the meantime, Santro proves to be inefficient for its bumpy rides.

    Overall it is good better value for money than Alto.
    Fuel economy some/maruti claiming 22km. if is true, really good. Colour variant are excelent.
    Back seat is not comfortable more uprightness, may be strenuous on long ride. Alto is better with well angled resting except for legroom.

    Test drove the vehicle today, found it to be an awsome car.As many people have pointed out the rear seat space could have been better. The gear box seemed to be smooth and controls was also good. I am buying this one!

    I am planning to buy a Zen Estilo LXI. I did some research and also went through many Carwale.com forums. I reckon that each car has pros and cons. Considering all such things I have decided to go for Estilo mainly for the below reasons:

    I have a VXi from last 5 months its really superb very smooth and as of now the best one for city traffics the mileage is 18 on highways and comes to 16 with AC.

    I do agree with those who have preferred Zen estilo. I just had a test drive tomorrow, and found it better than Wagon R and Alto because of following reasons:
    1. Leg space is more than Alto. Wagon R rather seems to be like a truck ride, too spacious.
    2. U will find Zen Vxi features better than Alto and Wagon R and that is really a value for money.
    3. Looks are excellent, with a variety of colours to choose from.
    4. Interiors are brilliant, alto and wagon R has the same boring dashboard.

    Xen Estilo has more space than Santro or i10. It is better than old Zen because here you sit as though in a chair not in a bucket. It has better mileage and power than the old zen

    Pros:Good looks,powerful AC and smooth drive.
    Cons:Less leg room in the rear.
    Mileage-City:14.5 (with out AC)and Highway:17. I am using it for past 5 months. Ok sorta car.

    HI,

    You can bye this if you want move arround daily in fully densed city like Mumbai. Simply you can control it easily in bumper to bumper traffic. Move out thru narrow slits and reach your home thru such dense traffic. I am feeling it excellent in traffic point of view. No doubts space is not enough for three seats at rear. It is small car for small family with large boot space...Regards Pradeep

    Wagon R is only 2.5 cm longer than Zen Estilo. But all other features are better in Zen Estilo. However in Delhi Wagon R is very popular

    Last minute thought of looking at reviews. This or that! was totally confused, started from 800, 800LPG, Alto LXI to Zen Estilo LXI. I found that people prefere Wagon R. why? don't know BUT ZEN E has same engine plus aerodynamic and almost same rate with differnce of some thouss I am getting powerfull engine than Alto. Consulted Mechs of Marutis and pvt. Decided, Buying shortly by 27 March (Gudi Padwa). Santosh

    Hmm Zen estilo is good vaue for money car (considering discounts- vxi came for 3.83 incl. tax & insurance in Bangalore) with interiors far better than wagon R. I've been using it (Vxi) for the past three monts. People may be preferring Wagon R because it looks bigger -which is probably an optical illusion as the difference in length/ breadth/ height between the two cars are negligible.

    I am going to buy ZEN E VXI bcus good value for money, upholastry is as good as sedan. Better milage and drivig for Indian roads. I had compare it with WR/Santro/Uva.I found it simply best. One just cannot avail everything in just 3.50 lac. Regards, REETESH

    I purchased a Zen Estillo LXI 9 days ago and i am very happy with its perfromance.
    1> The car is really spacious and the boot space is very good for heavy luggage.
    > Leg room in the rear seats will be a challenge only if you are 5.10'+. Considering that the average height of Indians is 5.6"--- Seating is very comfortable.
    3> The engine is powerful gives a good pick up.The AC is a real stunner.
    > Front Power windows in LXI make it an even better buy. Better than Wagon-r anyday. Go 4 it

    I too planning to buy Estilo LXI/VXI. I compared the price band between 3 to 4 lakh. It is really worth for the money. It is just 50 thousand more than ALTO LXI. But you will find the following advantages

    1. 1061 CC engine
    2. A/C is good
    3. Power windows
    4. Stylish look
    5. Ineriers are good
    6.Internally adjustable rear view mirrors
    7. Body colour bumpers

    for spending 50K extra..
    you will get all the above features.

    I am going to buy soon

    I am too confused like any 1st buyer.....

    Can anyone suggest which one will be better -
    1) i10 Era
    2) Santro Xing
    3) Wagon R
    4) Zen E
    5) A Star

    Look wise I prefer A Star but leg-space are little; both at front and rear for 5'11"

    Santro Xing - No comments ; except lesser mileage.

    i10 I think is Ok in all aspect

    Zen E - I rate most but need help from users like you ........

    Guys, no doubt it's going to be car of the year 2010. I had a test drive yes'day. Awesome look and smooth drive, powerful a/c. Spares and srerice centres are available like petty shops. So don't worry go for Zen Estilo. For around 4 lakhs, you can feel a flight travel.
