Unusually quite for a diesel car. It makes less noise than my petrol driven CRV.
On an express way at 90-100 kmph I got 20km/lt and the average was 17.5 km/lt for a 400 km drive with 60% express way and 40% two lane highway with slow traffic. For a car of this size one cannot ask for more.
