I bought Grande Punto DI Emotion on 15th July'09 & till date drove more than 1000 Km, both in local & higway. Its very comfortable, very effective AC, great pickup even in 5th gear also, very less noise inside. If i talk about mileage its gives me more than 16.5 kmpl(with AC & top speed 80 kmph) in local & same at highway with AC & top speed 125 kmpl.May be engine is in its initial stage so i think after servicing its mileage will increase...
Things which i dint like abt this car are less leg space at rear seat, poor quality of rear tray & sometime leg touches steering axle (this dint affect ur driving but these are my observations).
Friends if i compare this car to swift, dezire, Ikon & Fabia I found this car ahead dats y i bought it.....

    I recently booked GP MJD 1.3 Emotion, may be you could answer my query: Is there is anyway to connect/use USB pendrive with its music system? The sales person at showroom was not able to solve my query.

    Yes some chinese USB ports can be installed at the place of lighter but kindly check the quality & drawbacks of the same before going for that.

    I also drove Punto, DI , emotion.. Its really awesome... grat pickup & least sound inside. The look is completely ahead from the rivals & ths quality of body is far better than swift..When u sit inside it & drive it in city. It feels like everybody is watching u only.. Its such a high class, luxury look model. It may have some cons but if to say about overall i rate it 4.5/5.

    Friends this weekend I went to Agra/bharatpur (highway). Car was fully loaded, AC was ON all the time, top speed was 120 KMPH & mileage came 17.2 kmpl.

    i am planning to buy a 1.4 emotion petrol version, but getting confused as price is little higher. getting confused between indica vista and this one. pls assist.

    Indica vista is too economical.But the quality of material will be really poor.If you can compromise this then with vista you will get lot of features with lower cost as compared to punto.

    I waited for this car and purchased dynamic 1.3 diesel. City or Highway mileage is not going above 11 to 12. Have to wait for first servicing. Anything to do with idling rpm

    Rajesh, Mine is giving more than 17 in local. Idle RPM should be around 800. If u feel there is some problem. Visit service centre. As per my exp so far in any case Punto is giving more than 15km/l.

    Guys, I have a GP 1.4 Petrol and I think the engine noise does enter the cabin. There seems to be no noise outside though. Does this get better after the first servicing?
