I bought the Indica Xeta GLS BS III in July 2008, replacing my M800 which served me faithfully for 8 yrs and 58000 Kms.


Having evaluated Wagon R Lxi, Santro Xing, Chevy Spark for over two months, I decided on Xeta (against all popular advice) for the following reasons....



  • Low cost of purchase. ( Total cost with accessories was almost same as Alto Lxi)

  • Roomy interiors.

  • Peppy Engine.

  • Excellent AC

  • Good features at no extra cost

  • Low maintainace.

After 1 year use my feedback...



  • Low Milage: Run 12800 Kms (30% with AC, 70% without AC), Fuel comsumed 1195 Ltrs - Avg FE 10.72 Kmpl. Usage 100% city, Peak traffic hours.

    Hey friends , i want to buy a car, but little confused between indica xeta LPG,indica vista TDI and indigo CS TDI. Remember fuel efficiecy is most important.

    Dear Partha,
    I will buy my first car & I am considering Xeta for value for money. But friends insist not to go for Tata Petrol car if I don't want to visit garage frequently. Also lot of reviews on net indicate that wagon r & santro has better "overall experience". Can you please tell ur experiences about the same. Thanking you in advance.
