Hi, I personally dont believe that I-20 is an overpriced car,please note that the additional features like Air bags, ABS, 2 din music system,steering height adjustment and moulded audio controls, rear disc breaks, higher engine displacemet 1.4L (i-20), 1.3L (swift), higher power(90 i-20 -75 swift), electric foldable mirrors, 2 tone beige interiors,alloy wheels,automatic climate control,rear wiper and washer, defogger, 60:40 split seats ( in swift full foldable), driver seat height adjustment, more boot space, all of these contribute approximately 1,75,000 rs. Ex-show room price  of swift in bangalore - 496,465, where as i-20 is 683,431. The difference of 186,966 can be justifyable for the saftey and luxury it has been offering.If we say swift is an VFM, certainly i-20 is also a VFM .It has so many additional features,luxury and safety  which are put in the right place, which makes the car a worth buy.If money is not a concern, then definately i would prefer i-20 Asta CRDI in the premium hatchback segment. Altough i am not a professinal in this field, i have tried to analyse few major things which were posssible from my side. please post your comments on this. thanking you.

    u r right. some people can not just digest with swift, they can go for i20. i20 is feature rich. swift's interiors are cramped and cheap...nowhere near to i20. those in the swift line having now but can spend some more will definitely go for i20.

    you are absolutely right actually we shouldnt compare it with swift.it is entirely a higher segment car whether its,interior ,engine ,power,safety features,luxry features,swift is nowhere.compare it with jazz ,linea

    ya its correct man..i just study the difference between i20 and swift.i think we cont compare i20 with swift.i20 is a luxury one.it give as more luxury as honda city.

    Yes, probably you guys are right. i-20 is a better car compared to swift. But one thing we are forgetting here is the price factor. We can more or less compare i20 with Punto MJD (ofcourse i20 is a step ahead) but we can get top end model in Punto with all the so called luxury features at the same price of i20 Magna crdi. That shows its not competitively priced. Let me ask you one thing... how many of us (Indians) think like you. See Hyundai has come with this product to make good sales..cont.

    cont..... not to just make some meagre sales. they are trying to target midlle & upper middle class segment, if this is so, then it is bit highly priced. They should have also come up with a variant which does not have so many features and priced around 5.75 lacs on road. Ofcourse without airbags, ABS, steering controls etc. that would have made it a hot selling car. People who can efford will go for top end, else the basic. I dont understand why Hyundai cant think of this basic fact.

    its your money & you r going to suffer

    for wrong decision. ask only your close

    friends &family member to choose..........

    both i20,i10era &ritz maybefooling us,too pricy

    getting so less after paying so much......

    It should be Value-for-Money like Swift(d)

    Even vista-terra-diesel/indigo.CS is vfm...
