Hi Guys


I own a 2003 std (euro 2)model done 40000km. I keep the car for city use as I also own other cars.There was report of a milage test done by autocar guys of Ford Fiesta which prompted me to check milage of my good old maruti.I topped the tank and went out for an outing and travelled 130 km.There after I again topped up the tank and it consumed 5.1 liters of petrol.The average was 26 km/l.Come on Ford Fiesta beat it!


Again in Feb 2009
Now I have had this car for 6 years.
Though i drive it occasionaly but I again drove it on a long drive(Delhi to Shimla) for a return distance of 911km.The observations are as under:
No of occupents-4
Distance Travelled-911km
Fule consumed -46 liters
Average -19.80Km/L
Top speed achieved on highway-115km/h
Heater was on in Himachal Pradesh
Who will beat it
