   jazz 1.2 ltr hatch 90bhp on road at 8.05 with 12 % excise.
   city sedan 1.5 ltr 115 bhp on road at 8.96 with 24%excise and 15000 additional excise pays approx 1.00 lac more duty than the jazz.
   we are actually paying more for the jazz than the city. forget about competition man!
   will the govt wake up .consumers like us must wake up to this loot by staying miles away from such a product.

   Rightly said mates its only that japanese beleive indians are fools.Lets just put our mind in place and show them how wise we are.just think only design donot make the car worth its the overall package.EG:English men not digesting the fact that an indian company overtook the british giant(jaguar)TATA.I feel the down trend abroad has made the japanese do this,coz they know they are some loose money n loose minded people to buy this crap so called JAZZ.

   Very True....These guys should pass back excise benifits back to the customers and v r better off buying Fiat Linea or a Honda city than buying this oddly overpriced Jazzzz...This car would surely Jazzz Ur money away

    THese Japs are tiny creatures with very Chaalu brains...
    They seem to be over intelligent and think that they can easily fool the world including India.
    But everytime they forget ki India ki market ko samajhna itna aasan nahin hai...
    Indians sabke baap hain, chahe Engineers, Doctors, Scientists, Automobile Engs.. etc... kuch bhi le lo in every country....
    They still need to learn this basic lesson !

    Drove Jazz, it is grossly underpowered, aircon was ineffective, no alloys etc.
    
    An engineering mrvel down the drain. Such a great platform will get killed due to poor sales and marketing strategy.
    
    Honda, wake up. India is no more a testing ground, only the best will survive. Make price reasonable, have good power train and you will have a VFM offering. As of now it is only aspirational, only divine help will make them clock healthy numbers.

    Its only in India where people think that -if its Honda,pay any price and it is Ok.This mindset is not acceptable in a highly competitive world of today. This car is absolutely not worth its current pricepoint. If Anjali is really so happy paying 8.00 lacs or more for buying the Jazz---God bless her and all others who agree with her!!!

    2000 nos Jazz sold in june launch--much lesser than City.Half that- 1000 in july . wait for the august and sept.figures for this car to bomb out!!!!!! highly overpriced. You cant fool the public anymore HONDA JAZZ>>>>>>..

    Honda buyers whether Jazz or City - remind me of the Bajaj Scooter buyers of last century, who were not seeing the value of 100 cc bikes and still buying them calling "hamara bajaj" and "is ka resale value achha hai". It takes time but now bajaj has stopped making scooters as buyers found ths value of bikes and the junk value of bajaj scooters. Same is true with Honda cars too. It will take time but it will happen unless they correct themselves.

    It is an excellent car. I dont understand why people are cribbing so much about its price. In India, people just want some shit...any lost cost products can be sold here, irrespective of the quality.
    
    Honda Jazz is a premium car targeted only for the elite. Its a beautiful car and would be appreciated only by people who know really about cars.
    
    For those who crib about jazz, just stop cribbing, go ahead and buy cars like alto and indica which are intended for the narrow minded indians.

    Gojjas is right, Indians drove crapy fiat and ambasaddors for years, now suudemly that the world's best cars availablem but dont know anything about cars. All they care about is cost and VFM. Honda is seeling its cars for last 50 years.KNown for their for qaulity and reliablily. You buy Tata Indai an it will by junk after 5 years. Honda will last for 20 years.
