10 days back I purchased this car but with CNG fitted. It is excellent
on CNG. No drop in pic-up, You will not feel that You are driving CNG
car. costing only Rs.1.15 with AC on.

I just crossed 600kms.

Some draw backs which I feel after my previous Santro car, which I
drove for last 6 and half year with 1.06 lacs kmts.,are that sitting is
very low. coming out and moving in is not easy. lots of fog on
windscreen in rainy season. Not much space inside for placing things.
Like dash board is very big, but practicaly you can not keep any thing
there not even mobile. No arm rest at rear seats.power windows can not
be operated without keys at on possitions, so you can't leave any
family member inside the car waiting.

Except these drawbacks, it is very economical on CNG. Suspention is
very good.I drove with nearly 200kg in boots. 75kg CNG + 125kg luggage.

Go grab this car.

    Hi,Naveen,
Car performance is good. You will not feel any difference on CNG or on Patrol. As has done only first service and used 1800kmts,hence no comments on maintainance. But Hyundai cars require very less maintainance as I was having Santro.Very comfortable,3adults can sit easily at rear.I purchased from NIMBUS Noida.very flexible for your needs.contact Mr.Pathak there sales Manager referring my name,u might get good discount.Hurry as it will be dearer by 15K shortly. My No9811018039 forany hel

The average on CNG is Rs.1.15/-per kmts, and as it is started on patrol the average comes to, from both starting on patrol & running on CNG as, Rs.1.60-1.75/-. It might improve further after few more running. You are welcome to see the car before buying, contact me if u like at kyahaalhai@gmail.com. I m in Noida 63

    Hi Ranjit,
Average on CNG is Rs.1.15/-per Kg and CNG with Patrol is Rs.1.70/-per kg. (CNG @ 19.80/kg.G)
Go for original kit fitted with Hyundai approved kit. By that way you have warranty, less load on engine, RC endorsed with alternative fuel and moreover your car will be fully insured with CNG

    Hi Dhruv,
Accent CNG is a good choise. I just crossed 10,000 kmts.2nd service has been done.I still feel the same as I had posted comments on my 600 kmts. Now due to winter cost is comming to Rs.0.85 on CNG and Rs.1.50 with CNG and Patrol.Power in this accent is enough to drive on CNG.Warrenty is there so not to worry for any problem for next 2years.Diesel cars are noisy and life span of 100000 kmts.as machenics says.Choise is totally yours

    Hi,
I have recently bought Accent Executive with CNG. The vehicle is good and responsive on CNG. I have a CNG kit of 'Bedini' installed. The only problem I see is that I have to take the RPM of the vehicle to little over 3500 to convert it form petrol to CNG. Is that normal for the vehicle & is there any problem with the CNG kit?

    Otherwise the pick is good, and I get a good 150 KM distance in 10 KG of CNG ( 10(KG)* 20(CNG Rs/KG) = Rs 200 - 150 KM ( 75 paise w/o AC)

  15. on 06 Jan, 2009 at 07:17 PM Irish (Noida)

it should be converted at 2000 rpm.3500 is very much at higher side.If your driving habit is good, you will cross 3500rpm at speed of more then 120kmts.Please see to it again.

I have got Ascent GVS with CNG kit fitted since june 2007, almost one and half year now, driven around 25K Kms.

    Pros:
    1) good average on CNG, u can easily get a run of around 140-150kms with 10kg of gas.
    Cons:

I am not sure if this is unique problem with me only, RPM of my car goes very high on petrol as compared to CNG, somewhere around 1200. Car gives a bad milegae on petrol and my ECM has also konked off twice after installing CNG kit.

    ensure lambda fitment with kit.

  17. on 08 Jan, 2009 at 05:59 PM Irish (Noida)

Dear Gaurav,As to your own answer Lamda fitment should have to be there, to have no loss in pickup. If there is RPM problem on patrol compare to CNG, then please get check the connectors or Pug wire. Otherwise on CNG RPM will be more in compare to Patrol.
