How to obtain maximum cost effective use of Ford Ikon car

I have been running Ford Ikon 1.8 D for the last 4.5 years which has done about 1,20,000

K.M.The fuel economy is quite good.  It has been giving around 14 kmpl for city running

which is reasonably good.  For long distance, the car performs around 18 kmpl at a constant

speed of 70 kmph.

During preventive and breakdown repairs, it was found that the prices of spare parts

are making it unaffordable many times.  It is also to be mentioned that the central locking

system using remote control misbehaves

I would say that Ford Ikon front shape is high class and the bumper is almost comparable to 

race car model.  Considering the inner compartment and space, it would be ideal to provide

little more width in order  to get a longer seat from comfort point.  The seats and also the

space between front and back seats also require additional width. The new model  should be

between a Mondeo and an Ikon.  That will be a HIT...
