Wish if Mitsubishi had marketed the Cedia as well as they designed it. It is a marvel in its category and far better looking than Corollas, Elantras and Optras.

True to Mitsubishi cars, it is a driving pleasure and handling on high speed is phenomenal.

With plush interiors and great muscular exterior looks, this is truly a gem on the Indian road.

    Hi Ashish

what mileage are you getting for this?

    Are the spares expensive?

With a/c around 9.5 and without a/c around 11kms. Perhaps the best mileage in its segment. Haven't really bought any spare parts but shouldn't be expensive.
I have said it in other blogs as well, this car is truly value for money. Just go for it and you would never regret.

    Ashish,

    Thanks for your comments.

I checked the car and liked the looks (inside & out), liked the seating (easy to get in).

Did not like - rear seats as it does not support the full knee length.

    What are your views?

    Jaya,

Although, I am in driver's seat always and haven't really used rear seats, personally I do not see this as a problem and still find it comfortable enough to use as it gives you more legroom to stretch. You may want to check Octavia that has the worst rear seats and legroom but still it did well in the market. Overall, Cedia is a great package.

dear aashish, i think..... no.. i believe - that the CEDIA has got very muscular, boyish type looks which will appeal only to men.
Look at civic.. such a wonderful finishing.. similarly corolla etc are good looking than lancer.
so, cedia will not be appreciated by the girls in terms of looks.
cedia may be very good otherwise but it has got a very robust, boxy looks

Hey Ankul, for boxy looks, look at Chevy or Ford cars, now they are the ones that have boxy and drab looks....

ANY ONE USING CEDIA ON REAR SEATS(CHAFFEUR DRIVEN). HOW IS RIDE QUALITY? GROUND CLEARANCE WITH REGARDS TO HIGH AND NARROW SPEED BREAKERS.(MY HONDA CITY IS RUBBED BY THESE SPEED BREAKERS- FORD DOES'T.

Jayanti.....Cedia spare cost got recently reduced to as much as 40% of what they use to be. It is a sturdy low maintenance car and I've spent not a single paisa in last 01 year. If you plan to own it for more than 3 yrs. then resale shouldn't be any criteria for your purchase decision now....market is changing fast enough for anyone of us to say how Mitsu resale value would be. If there is any indicator then Lancers are still drawing good price in second market.

    Anurag,

Cedia's suspensions are good enough to provide smooth sail. Ground clearence is the best in its segment and I've driven it on some of the worst potholed-roads here in bangalore. Its bottom is yet to scrap a speed breaker. What you've highlighted is a typical Hoonda car problems. Civic is even worst than City in ground clearence.

    Hi Ashish,
I have got Cedia Spirit and wow. That's what I can say & I am a proud owner.

guys after the price cut down of cedia by 80k and reduction in prices of spare parts by 40%, cedia is value for money.. however, i have read feedback at other threads and they were really mixed..

Apart from the fact that it is full of features and the driver experience shd be superb being a mitsubishi,, ppl are saying:
    1)Maintenance is expensive
2)Spare parts availability is not good
    3)Low Resale value
    4)Low mileage
Can some cedia owner address my apprehensions? Thanks.

Vaibhav...I am using Cedia for almost 2 yrs now and let me help you here:
1)Maintenance is not expensive. It is at par if not lower than the cars of this segment. I recently got 4th service and this was the first time I shelled out some money.
2)Absolutely no problem with spare parts availibilty. 3)Resle value could be low compared to other cars in this segment but buyers are evolving & do not take car buying decisions for the resale value
    4)Class leading mileage..better than Corolla & Civic
