Pros : fuel economy 15 aprox in city with AC and 17 at higways, very good style, look and interiors.
Cons : space between rear seat and front seat is less specially for tall people

Superb car in city like delhi, i was confused before buying this car and thinking about wagon R and alto, but at last i bought santro, whihc i think is the best possible car for me and my family. Santro gives me 15 KMPL in city with AC and 17+on highways. and it pickup is superb,just place the foot on accelerator and see how quick it is. i am happy to have santro with me because santro wale samajhdar hote hain.

    Could the performance of the AC in this model be confirmed? I have heard that AC is not so efficient in Xing. I may be wrong. Would like to confirm.

    Dear bhusan performance of AC in santro xing is confirmed. i have driven this model in may, june, july in day time and all family members feel cool while driving and i have to lower the speed many times, i have also driven in hilly areas but no problem at all this is absolutely good.

    Dear bhusan whatever i have posted is correct. i have tested AC in may june july and even in hilly area in summer it is very powerfull. we have to lower the speed many times while driving. i have also driven santro in rajasthan villages where the roads and not good,there are lots of patholes and kachi sadaks, AC performance is good in this kind of road conditions.

    Dear mohit...
    go for swift if u can afford 50k more!....
    swift is an entry midsize segment...car...
    more power,more space and better drive... 88bhp while santro is 63 bhp...but no need to compare as both are of different segments!

    Yes I'm using Santro CNG (Company fitted)in Delhi & satisfied by its performance. although just entering into 3rd gear little bit hessitate on CNG but great price difference in both fuels so one can adjust it to it. I took my car in Dec 07 & my question to every Mechanic was which is sensible action Santro (CNG) or i10 petrol (New Look with improved engineering)not much difference in price also i10 cannot be converted on CNG & every one suggestd Santro CNG. so quite satisfied after having it.

    Hi Guys, My name is Sudeep and I'm using Santro Xing XO since Feb 2007 the performance is quite good but at the time when 5 people are sitting in it and AC is on then it takes some time in picking up speed.
