I've purchased this car recently, but it has changed a lot in terms of performance now, cause my elder brother had santro before but that was a not so powerful, not so light to handle, not so relaxing.

i recently test drived "MARUTI SWIFT" i was thinking about an hour why the hell people are promoting swift when its a pure bullshit, i had to force it to accelerate, and Steering was not as light as that of my santro eRLX XL.
Swift Dash board makes me remember a OLD MATADOR kinda vintage, seating is so irritating. I bet test drive santro and swift in a day, you won't be buying anything other than SANTRO.

Santro seems to have done remarkable changes to power and performance, certainly a MUST HAVE CAR for every one seeking a option in this segment.
I get 13KMPL with A.C and around 15-15.5 without A.C. in city.
Also power steering is very responsive, makes me use it without efforts.
Acceleration is superb, and braking is also good.

Only thing i miss is Seat belt Indicator and a plugable adapter would have been loved by all, those cigarette lighters are just hopeless when you need to connect laptop or charger for your smartphones.

See ya,
mohit

DONT TRUST THIS REVIEW !!! Boss, You have been living in some other world ! My father owns a Xing and I recently bought a Swift. .Swift is a class apart. No doubt Santro is good but definitely not comparable to Swift. They are not in the same class itself. Please read any review BS Motoring or AUTOCAR or any standard magazine review and know what truth it is.I will say Swift is a great car in its segment, but that does not mean I can say its better than City/Verna.Ur talking like this..:))

Swift is a hopeless car.I recently test drove it.Nothing compared to the Santro Erlx.Swift gives u the boxy feeling of a matador as Mr.Mohit said.Leg space (rear) is bad.Santro is the best car to drive around in city as well as on highway.Rock steady at 150 KPH.
Small car seekers,Santro is the car to go in for,Besides the After Sales Service that Hyundai gives is far superior than Maruti.

    hi,
yes rohan, iam doing great with santro XL, trust me iam 100% satisfied with santro, this month my car would be one yr. but it still has the ZING in it.

driving SWIFT was more like driving a Re-furbished TEMPO to my personal experience.
if you owned a maruti earlier their no Enthue in the Engine of swift. huh

Santro is best and you don't need to call my review a fake one, cause i didn't liked the pick up of swift and took santro,Love my car performance till date.

    See ya,
    mohit

hey guys, I am myself a owner of Santo XL .. but please for heavens sake dont compare a Swift to a Santro. The Swift is a much superior car and i have droven it. Its sheer pleasure to drive a Swift with exploding power in your hands.

Swift vs santro, ghos are u guys crazy, i have both in family but santro is much confortable for long driving hours, swift is like a rickshaw with extra features, drive it for 100+ KM and u'll forget what pleasure stands for.

Amod is correct, Santro is best for city drive but it doesn't puts fatigue on driver even if you drive 200Kms in a strech.

Only bad point i see it very poor display console, for speedo and fuel/temp meters, they could be more lively.
See cars from other countries you just love the console lightings, I am looking for changing color of the backlight in speedo meters, can anyone help me put some glow in that part particularly.

Phew! What a strange comparison! Swift nd santro. 1.3 vs 1.1 ltr
    haha
88 bhp vs 63 bhp ,haha
12.8 secs taken by swift vs 16.8 secs taken by santro (0-100kmph)
5 world awards for swift. (0 for santro)
lol...this review is gud,no doubt santro is a gud car in its segment but u can't compare it with swift. Don't write false things plz!
