THIS CAR HAS EXCELLENT DRIVING CHARCTERISTICS AT ANY SPEED RANGING FROM ZERO TO 176 KM(I HAVENT DRIVEN  BEYOND THIS BUT THE CAR IS STILL EAGER TO GO FURTHER).


EACH ONE OF THE SYSTEMS LIKE GEAR BOX ,POWER STEERING,BRAKES,SUSPENSION WORKS FABULOUSLY.


THE CAR IS STURDY AND TROUBLE FREE.IT COMES WITH 14 INCH RADIALS AND SUMPTUOUS GROUND CLEARANCE OF 178 MM WHICH ALLOWS IT TO BE TAKEN ANYWHERE.


INTERIOR QUALITY IS MATCHED ONLY BY HONDA CITY AND ITS SEATS ARE EVEN BETTER THAN CITY.


THE ENGINE IS SO GOOD IT HAS SUBSTANTIAL RESERVE POWER EVEN AFTER SWITCHING AC ON.I EASILY DRIVE IT IN 5TH GEAR FROM 50 KMPH  ONWARDS.MINIMUM GEAR CHANGES REQUIRED WHILE DRIVING.


FANTASTIC CAPABILITY TO CLIMB SLOPES EFFORTLESSLY AND THIS WITH THE HIGH GROUND CLEARANCE MAKE IT  A GREAT ALL ROUNDER.


IT IS A TROUBLE FREE CAR REQUIRING SERVICE ONLY ONCE IN 6 MONTHS (OR 10000KM) AND SERVICING COST IS NOT MUCH.QUALITY OF ENTIRE CAR IS SO GOOD IT DOES NOT NEED ANY ATTENTION  OTHER THAN PERIODIC SERVICING.

    I too am fond of Ikon 1.6 ZXI,no other car is so good in driving and quality.Even Fiesta does not come close.

    You should go for 1600cc ZXI model as the 1300 cc will not have eenough power to run on CNG

    Preferably go for ZXI model that has the best performance engine(1600cc)AS Ford has stopped marketing this you can go for used one.Top end model ie ZXI NXT also has lots of goodies and interiors are very high quality.This maY NOT BE SO FOR FLAIR

    dear ngarajan honda city has better seats than ikon...but ikon 1.6 is a truly amazing car i drove it once and in no time it reachd 100 kmh...but the brakes r not that great...but the pick up is great and its quite stable

    Diesel cars are recommended when minimum daily running is 65km or monthly running of 2000 km. This is purely financial calculation as one has to pay minimum of 70,000 rupees more for buying a diesel car compared to petrol car of same variant e.g Ldi = 5.7L (Diesel car) and Lxi = 5L (Petrol car). The price of diesel fuel is less compared to petrol fuel hence one has to run minimum of 2000 km monthly to recover the extra price of 70,000 rupees paid during buying.

    Good ground clearance 180 mm suitable for Indian roads.
    New AVEO added with lot of features, printed antennae, tilt steering,driver seat height adjustable,rear seat arm rest with cup holders etc etc.
