I am using C200 K for last 3 years.

The engine, driving comfort etc. is superb.

The fuel consumption is upto 10-13 Km/Lit - It's excellent.

But, the vehical is very delicate-Front windshild of car just cracked at 15000 KM, Breaks were replaced at 20000 KM, Tyres were replaced at 22000 KM, A/c was out of order just due to bump on road etc. etc.

A good, stylish & safe vehical only for Highways & Expressway.

is the quality of the new C class the same as C200K 3 years old which Mr. Deshpandey writes about? I am on the verge of buying it.

    YES.
But, if you are going to use car on good road condition it's a better option.
Take care of side mirrors in heavy traffic area, it cost more than 25000/=.
    Good luck!

Why are u caring of money when u want to use a Merc. Its just like some body is talking about purchasing Merc. & asking about the milage, then why don't go for CNG fitted Merc.

    Mr. Jain,
You must have spent thousands of rupees on yourself or on your family members for some items which you find useless after some time, ..NO REGRATES as it’s your hard-earned money.

But have your few hundreds has lost due to your or your family members ignorance or lost? , ..PINCHING REGRATES as it’s your hard-earned money.

On this platform, nobody talks of money when owning a Merc, but alerting or sharing pinches / tips after owning a Merc, as it’s everybody’s hard-earned money.

I am actually shocked by this review, I have this car on my radar for last 3 years, hope it turns out fine.

Mercedes is not meant for poor road conditions. I own 1 C 320 (2003) and an E350(2006) with no problems except normal wear and tear because road conditions are the best in US. I don't know what the milage on these cars (should I really care?). I wanted to buy a C class to my brother in India but he went for a Camry due to its tough performance. Hope this helps you guys. Thanks Anu.
