      let me make this clear. I haven,t driven the swift sedan oops! the dZire... I have just seen the vehicle. The first looks were impressive but to be honest I really thought that it was a swift except for the chrome strips which seems a bit dated.The boot looks really good, thanks to the well shaped boot lid, the chrome strips and the tail lamps.The boot opens in a curious mannner which remains to be seen.


   the interiors are as the swift's. However the seats are beige coloured to improve the airy feeling which was missing in the earlier swift and the aged esteem. The front seats like the swift are supremely comfortable and supportive. The legroom at the rear is not much to impress.(a maruthi trademark) The claustrophic rearis now some what reduced. The vehicle is a makeshift one so the panel gaps at the rear doors are noticeable.


Dzire should be similar to the swift if the added weight of the boot may not affect its performance. The models are well priced except for the top end diesel. But it should be economical in the long run with about 19kmpl.


 The car blends desirablity ,practicality, performance and affordablity unlike the Logan ,Accent, and Ikon . It can even lure customers from bigger fiesta and SX4.


 This one is defenitely the one to go ............

    Agreed as far I have anlzd it.s real good car, dlivery wil hapn within 20 days, colrs are gud.

    Rear end tray is inclined. Does not give a good rear end outside view.

    hi all...am from MUMBAI.....I don't know much about cars, planning to buy a Swift VXi (ABS) or a Dzire VXi..........can't see much difference apart from length, music system and price. Someone pls help me to choose. Is it worth spending for a Dzire?

    hi rahul if u r choosing swift VXi(ABS) then choose it because u will not get the ABS feature in Dzire VXi that feature iss available in DZIRE ZXi.

    Hi all, @m fm delhi........u know wht! i had booked swift earlier n the day I was supposed to get it delivered......they launched dzire....n suddenly I changed my plan becuz it’s better than swift I mean great value for money except mileage!!! that’s my only concern,...hope for a good mileage....n now @m waiting for delivery.....!!!!!!!

    Hi jatinder,
    the swift vxi would give a mileage of 11kmpl in the city and 15.5kmpl in the highway.(approx.)

    Hi Jitendra! DZire Vxi mileage is 12-16 Kmpl as of now but exact mileage will be known after 1st servicing.

    I test drove a Swift Dzire zdi. After 2000 rpm the car really takes off like an aeroplane. Driving comfort is supreme. I have booked Dzire zxi (petrol version). I was told the waiting period would be 7 to 8 months. It is already 45 days. I am eagerly waiting for my new car. The boot is a real loot. The tyres are alloy and need no wheelcap. City mileage is around 12-13 and highway around 19. Only drawback is the bootspace at the rear. Worth going in for otherwise - Viswanathan(Nagpur)
