If maintained well, this thing exists for a million Years.The true hardcode offroader is a pleaser in places where there are no roads.The body is too strong , which u wont get it in New jeeps.Take it for trekking, u'll enjoy bein on wheelswhile trekkin

    The major is suberb offroader. On the 4 Wheel drive version,Take out the stock tyres and add on MRF Sandgrip tyres,maybe if your wallet permits add on BF Goodrich All Terrain (AT)tyres and you have superb offroader.

    agreed. the mdi engine is a blast. i have a petrol mahindra jeep the short wheel base. it rocks. if i can get a mdi engine it will be a bomb, but cant afford it. well no doubt cj mdi is a bomb shell. my e-mail id johnjoseph_swain@rediffmail.com

    Hi,
    I own a MDI 500 bought in march 2001. Though the vechical does not have a great comfort record, Its engine life is beyond discription. Its generates Raw power and thats what i like about it.
