i own a mahindra bolero sle (formerly the sports) since the past 10 months, in an honest opinion the vehicle is good for in city driving it scares away other cars, but on highway its a bit slugish top speed is 140km. ac is very good, avoid black color its gets very hot in summer and consumes more fuel, also needs continous cleaning daily if used in mumbai, fuel consumption is good aprox 10kmpl in mumbai city, comfort is good. and car is tough and easy to mantain not super expensive, go for extended warranty if possible. its very noisy on the outside but super quiet inside.

    in answer to your query:
Bolero is bringing out a Crde version in about 3-4 months - maybe by August this year. cost about 7.3 lacs. This will be the same Scorpio engine, de-tuned a little, to give a BHP of 100 as against the current 115 BHP of Scorpio and the existing 68 BHP of Bolero.
Alloys from Aura are the best - they cost around 25000 for 5 alloy. In the Crde Bolero, all you really require is a set of alloys and a towhook (Rs 1200) which can be fitted by Mahindra.

I had a bolero sportz in india for three months. this car is best for the people who goes on the bad roads or the broken ones. absolutely not a family car. best for the small bussinessmen like contractors who use to go to the rough roads. maintanence cost is negligible as compared to the other MUVs. Its a heavy car so the driver feels quite safe and he is because of its solid and heavy body. have a good grip on the road but not on a high speed like 110km/hr or more. overall the car is satisfyi.

Manly look.It looks cool in alloy wheels.pls drive the car b/w 80 to 90,more then 90 it ll not give the safe drive.defenitly not a family car.it not sutes for aged persons they defenitly need neck accessories on travel.a/c is too good whene u turn on the a/c it abruptly losing it pulling power.good steering control in 80 to 90.
