I have been driving the Tucson for over a year now.. Its good for the price here in the the Gulf for the petrol version and with the automatic.

This is way too expensive in the Indian Market.. The same sells for half the price in the Gulf region for an automatic version with petrol.

Its a value for money elesewhere in the world but their price point for India is absolutely ridiculous.

I'd rather ship my used Tucson and use it India .. It would still be cheaper

Hyundai is fleecing its customers in India...

Hi Kurianjose. Read ur review. I agree with u fully on the pricing, but what to do if u wanna the Tucson here(I'd rather have the Automatic)?? We have to pay. I absolutely loved the front seating position..v comfortable. So i'm nearly finalised on it..unless u r ready to ship ur AUTOMATIC Tucson nd sell the same to me here @ Indian prices :) Deal or what ?

    Hi Anuj,
I dont think I would be moving to India in the next couple of years, So I still would be using it for a while.
For India my personal opinion is to go in for the Manual version, else fuel would be an issue. Here in the Gulf we drive at 120 on smooth roads & the cost of fuel is less too,its not the same in India.
Just to give u an indicative price in Dubai on the Tucson, 4WD,Automatic, sunroof, CD player, power mirrors and windows costs 68000 AED approx 7.5 lac, what are u paying?

    Hi Kurian,
U guys r lucky, paying just 7.5 lacs for a Automatic Tucson that costs 17 YES **17** lacs here in India. But the Honda CRV Auto(petrol) costs even more, about 19 Lacs. Gives a whole new dimension to the word fleecing...But i still wanna get it and definitely Automatic coz too much traffic everywhere, so it's much more convenient. Seems like still some time before they launch the Automatic here. Any suggestions on how to get it earlier here ?
