I bought it on 22 Oct 07, today on 24 Jan 08 I have clocked 11000+ Kms.


While purchasing I considered 1. Boot Space, 2. Elegant Design, Power, Wheelbase


I am getting 16.5-17kmpl, I drive more highway, less city avg speed 80-90 km.


I like its looks, space, comfort power, Gear Shift, silent cabin, you have to tell that its a diesel


Backrest of rear seat has 3 level this gives more boot space

I feel the braking could have been better.


If you hit a pot hole the disc bends a bit, it happened twice to me, I think the the car/engine is heavier for strenght of the disc.


Headlights should be brighter.

    Overall how would you rate the GETZ CRDI? Despite the disc problem. Is it overpriced? What is the mileage in city? Is it high on maintenance? Would you recommend it ?

    Hi Deepak,
    Good car if you like to drive. Disc problem is with many new hyundai cars incl santro. price comparison depends upon what car you compare it with. I dont know milage in city as I drive mostly highway. Since its new I cant comment on maintenance cost. Amongst urrently available cars compare power, design, space-cabin/boot, interiors there is no other car that will come closer.

    hi deepak,
    I bought this car in december but i never regreted after buying this one. i test drived all the diesel car as well as petrol car in this range. i dint find any car competing with it in terms of power, space and performance. Picup is really good. Only problem with this car is that it is overly priced and no ABS for such power. In city also you wont fell that you are driving a diesel car.

    Any further updates on the Fuel economy. Am planning to buy one. The sales folks claim an average of 24 but seems too good to believe. Any suggestions on what average should one expect. WOuld be friving 60% on highway

    Power-Pickup: Drive with 5 adults+luggage+AC
    Space-Comfort: Make 3 adults sit at rear seat,
    Build quality
    Legroom
    angle of rear seat
    boot space
    interiors
    visibility:Driver Seat
    Gear shift
    3 level adjustable reat seat: Hyundai mention this as a comfort feature, but it adds to boot,on longer drives when you stuff MORE luggage.
    I have put 25 dozen mango cartons
    Fuel Eco:18 kmpl betn 100-140, Swift will give you more.
    but all this comes for that extra buck

    Fantastic power to wt ratio delivery rocketing acceleration and top speed.
    Upgrading tyres is a personal choice but remember wider tyres will equal better traction but more rolling resistance. Think if you need so much rubber?
    Fuel efficiency is again subjective. If you have a lighter foot and coast more than brake hard... you are bound to sip less.
    Lack of abs can be made up with the right tyre choice. Do a thorough research on the kind of tyre that will suit the kind of road u will go on.
