   Car is a beauty but price is a complete dissapointment, also the cheapest version that is going to be launched in march 2008 i.e. petrol 1.2 will be near about 5.2 lacs for the basic model, it is better to go for a fully loaded swift ZXI rather than having a skoda basic. It is not the drivers car.

   Car interior & exterior is very good look & feel but Price is very high & this car is not at for india road condition cuz ground clearance is very low due to that silencer pipe & floor front lower Grill will damage this ground clearnce without load. milage alos i don't think what the commit it will not come. all extra fitings only cost aroun 50k for that they price 1.75lac extra.
   people please before think twice to buy the car buteer wait Fiat Punto atleat dealer netword is increaed

   I took the test drive on 27 January and felt the same that the diesel engine is too grunty and underpowered. This 3 cylinder diesel version is a big disappointment. NCR dealers are not telling the prices of Petrol models. Does any one know? Given the quality of interiors and Skoda's built quality, I personally feel that the petrol version would be better, if priced correctly. So far, I have shortlisted Cheverlot Avea U-VA (compared to petrol version of Swift and Getz Prime).

   I had purchased a Fabia Ambiente Petrol recently. According to me its superb. Recently Skoda has reduced their price by a considerable amount. Now the difference in price of Swift Dzire ZXi and Fabia Ambiente Petrol is only 30 thousand. I have also a Mitsubishi Lancer but the feel of this car is just amazing. Its worth paying that extra amount. Truly you feel special while driving this car. I am not aware what will it be in the long run but as of now I am enjoying every bit of it...
