   Thanks for yr observation.Firstly if u opt for the extended warranty spare parts will get covered in the same.Also it has been my experience if u service the car regularly the car runs forever.I am unable to understand what u mean by low ground clearance !!.The car is quite high for our road conditions.I travel on bad roads on highways and never felt this problem

   thanks for the feed back.does the car face problem in driving over speed breakers,bad road when fully loaded.a number of people have given this feed back in their reviews

   Nipun, High spare cost is a myth because Ford Fiesta is highly indigenised and parts costs are comparable to TATA Indigo. Ground Clearance is 168mm. Honda City, Hyundai Santro, Maruti Wagon R & Zen Estilo, TATA Indigo - all have ground clearance less than Fiesta. Bottoming is more to do with the specific road condition than low clearance of Fiesta. Engine is very reliable. The only problem Ford has today is the network. I feel Ford is expanding its operations in India and doubling its dealers.

   By 2009 when ford will be launching their small car to compete with Indica they will be having substantial dealer network. Ford as a company is fast overcoming its problem and launching new exciting products all over the world including China and India. Maruti will be the largest market share loosers in the next 2 years and their market share is expected to come much below than existing 55%. Car Industry dynamics are changing very fast. Consumers will enjoy the most. Just wait.

   Mr. sanju & Mr. ramprasad high spare cost is not a myth, its there, i own honda city as well as ford fiesta tdci, ford uses low quality spare parts thats why they are low priced but with equall use ford wear & tear is more than double of honda. ground clearance is same of honda city & fiesta .I dont know whether u took a road test on same speed breaker of all the above cars mentioned. i own an indigo which has never touched the breaker and city & fiesta never crossed the breaker without toching

   Extended warranty is not for wear & tear parts that need to be replaced with time. and these parts of ford are of low qualtiy. @ 25000kms its extra spare parts cost starts. no other car maintenence starts at this mileage. extended warranty time in ford is very less for wear tear parts as compared to others.
