Hi,


I was looking for this day to write a comment on this car, from he day i saw its photo in one of the car mag as named PA. I used to own a Santro few months back, and that car in that segment still remains the KING. i10 can be one of the prince not more than that.


The car is good inside, but outside Santro looks much better. It gets into the level of Zen Estilo by outside looks. Engine is same 1.1 erlx. driving pleasure is there but it is coming at the cost of getz prime almost. I had a gream about this car, but not satisfied. I think this car maker will not play any game with middle power range engine anymore in India. Either it is 63-65 bhp or 120bhp. not in any range of swift or atleast their old 1.3 getz (had mileage problem badly). If we want take the pleasure of driving @1.1 ltr engine does it worth paying 5.64Lac(top end model,on road Bangalore)? we will search the answer till the car finishes three months in the market.

    I agree with you. The new Hyundai i10 is overpriced. Other cars in the same segment like Zen Estilo, Wagon R & Santro Xing are much more competitive. Moreover, prevailing discount schemes make these models more attractive. Hence company should seriously think over pricing policy of i10.

    I agree the car is overpriced for a 1.1 L engine, doesnt matter if they have thrown in some more features.

    hi,
    well i10 is such a tiny-car(smaller then spark) very poor mileage plus too expensive. also, so called i10k-80PS at 6200+rpm ,which is impossible in normal used. to reach 6200+rpm t'meter may cross red-line which is bad. 80ps is just on paper. For Indian! Comfort , Mileage & Service is must.
    those who were eyeing at i10 must go for maruti swife or xink-1.1lt. basically-actually,hyundai car=v.poor mileage
