TILL now good experience!! Great car!!

I have done first servicing of my Adventure and here is the brief review of the experience
Most of the travelling has been done in Delhi and have done some 100 Kms on Delhi- Gurgaon- Manesar road.Have maintain 60Km as max speed though could not resist to touch 80 Kms while on highway.( avoided as was advised)
a)Have done 1440 Kms and used 150.82 lts of Speed /IOC petrol.
The average comes out to be 9.55km/lts.
I gear - 5%
II gear- 30%
III gear-35%
IV gear- 25
V gear- 5%

Aircon usage -65-70%

Last filling was 38 lts and covered 403 Km. This included a 100 Km high way drive and the averge was 10.61 km/lt.


The petrol bills add to Rs 7319 and approx it comes to Rs 5/km.

My average with Wagon R used to be 11-12/km in Delhi

Positive points:
a)SAFETY:while driving feel you are very safe in the box of steel and you feel pity on people driving so fast with boxes of tins!!. very very balanced and good drivebility on Indian roads. Especially on katcha roads,pot holes,breakers and terrain surface. ---10/10 marks
b)Comfort:very comfortable on long drives. I used to get tired while driving but here you get a feeling difficult to describe with adventure and
its very comfortable on long drives.No back pains and less tired ness---10/10
c)A/C: effective and powerful and need not to go beyound 2 mark. Infact most of the time had to shut it back or put on lowest level due to chilling.---9/10
d) breaks: on sudden breaks it always stops at the last moment but feel scope of improvement here and breaks could be better.....8/10
e)Tubeless Pireli Tyres: one feels the vehicle is running in control and licking the ground. 9/10. One mark less because it lowers the F/E!!
f)Boot space : no match : 10/10
g) Doors: you have to bang !! gives the sound of tough car!!
h)ground clearnace: 190 and unmatched....10/10.
i) Looks: The car park or Valet park guy looks will tell that .... imported car!!.
Neck cranes when the car passes by... impressive and exclusive looks.... 10/10
j)The Ist and II gear torque is great and the car moves on nicely without accelaration.I could drive at III gear even though the speedometer was showing <10 km/hrs and no knocking sound at all.I think here it brings a major difference with other vehicles.-------10/10
The gear are getting smooth. they were hard initially and compare to marutis its still quite hard


Negative:

a)Still to see the services : The car first servicing was well handled. It was done at vivek auto ,Delhi. Mr Mukherjee ,GM workshop was very nice ,old FIAT trained person.care well taken by Kapil there... so no complains yet.
b)F/E: with current trend ..Expect F/e to be 9.5-11 in city and 12-14 on highways.Will know after II servicing only if the F/E improves or not
c) perception of FIAT and OEM parts:


Overall for the money I had spent ,Its a very satisfying.It gives you an exclusive feel.FIAT makes great cars ..no doubt.. I hope they will not let us down on services in future too!!
