One hour back I went to ABC Hyundai, Churchgate, Mumbai to see i10. Customer Service Executive, Mr.Surinder, welcame me saying,'If you are going to book a car then only see it from inside otherwise just see it from outside. I clarified him that I m looking a second car for my family, he 'advised me not to invest in car, instead I should invest in Bank Deposit & all. I got a shock that how Hyundai appoint such people. Is it not consumer's right to see a car from inside before booking it? Is this kind of customer service Hyundai provide?

    Why Hyundai is making such cars old wine in new bottle. That to at this cost over Rs 4.5 lac. We are sure about the performence and mileage. Instead people should go for Palio 1.6 sport which available in Rs 4.51 lac with 100 BHP engine. Even Xeta is also available at Rs 3.21 lac with 67 BHP.

    I fully agree with Mr.Tamhankar. This car is overpriced. I have chart given by ABC Hyundai. It shows top model at 5.75 lacs in Mumbai. 1.1 ltr with 67 BHP at 5.75 is too much.

    What do you think about i10 Era vs Fiat Palio Stile SLX? They are on the similar pricing, but I am not sure about the features,power etc. From specs, it apperas that Stile is little less powered than i10.

    The info will help me make my decision to buy a car. Thanks.

    Although the i10 interior quality is very refreshing...plastic quality is very good..but yet i feel its overpriced for its segment..better to go 4 spark in this range...that too we are not sure about its mileage and maintenance cost.

    hey dude u surely should change ur way of presenting a review or should rather not write one just cause u were bitten by this ABC hyundai guy u cant say bout the aftersales of the new i10
    so better not to comment such things. it can affect people's approach towards i10

Had taken this to their Service head in India on 2 occasions. NO RESPONSE at all !! I also got scammed by being charged for parts which were not changed. Got the car checked outside and went back. They agreed to this and put in the parts ! I did go to this car yesterday but for the sake of service, have decided to go forany other brand

    This seems to be speciality with Hyundai. I contacted One Mr. Hemant (or like name dealing with Getz Prime) Ultimate, a Hyundai showroom at Chandigarh for the test drive of Getz Prime atlease 5 days before Diwali. I am still waiting for the test drive. The person promised to come on a partcular day/time. He did not turn up even after 3 hrs of committed time. When contacted, response was discourging and like obligation on me. Contacting other person next day also did not help.Still waiting.Vikra

    ABC Hyundai is rude - no doubt about that. In fact, I think their name now does not even feature on Hyundai India's Website. Having said that - this forum is on the i10, so let's focus on that. It's a great car and a refreshing change in this segment with the only drawback being the price. The Magna version should satisfy most buyers and the Magna (O) is a total waste as it's priced too high. Wish they would give the ABS and Airbags as an option on all levels... Quality is nice too

    Pick up the December'2007 issue of Autocar India to get a broader idea of the i10. It would be well worth spending money on some of these auto magazines that will carry reviews on the i10 before deciding on it's purchase. Gives one a chance to know the performance level of this vehicle...

    dude no shocking thing in this i had booked a 2007 car in april at sanjay hyundai pune and they sold me a 2006 car that to i think so is a demo car i had complaint about this to almost all officails in india but still there was no response then i gave it to media they then printed my article in the newspaper but still now there is no response from any body so its better u be very carefull while buyiny any car see that u get all the informationfrom the dealers and then book the car

    I have bought I10 Magna Model, Its Very Good Car,and if u compare with Santro, it is now outdated, in i10 you are getting good quality Interior, EPS, Tubeless Tyer, great legspace in front seat, Proper Armrest, Good quality AC such things we r not getting in OLD SANTRO. I would Suggest if you are buying Small Car go for this, Even You can Check All Reviews in AUTO Magazine and AUTO Shows. ITs Great !!! Its new And Excellent Car in Small Car Segment Today!

    Hyundai i10 is for sure overpriced. The base model 'D-Lite' does not even have Power Steering. For the price you pay for this base model one would expect atleast Power Steering.

    Hi all..please please dont write reviews about sales person...or show rooms...its a place to write about the CAR reviews..
    For people like me who choosea car by reading reviews its no more helpful by reading show rooms complaints
    Also i read all reviews many people tell the car is over priced..
    I want to tell one thing--when you pay for a peanut and ask for a icecream u would get only peanut.Compare maruthi 800 and i-10(check the interios) we can see the diffrence.am in uk and i-10 is good

    Recetli i booked Hyundai i10 from kothari Hyundai..tilak road pune..The Sales men was really good at the time of describing the features of the car and once i booked the car after that no one from that showroom got back to me aboout the delivery of teh car..everyday i used to call them up regarding the delivery and after i got the delivery the guy told me that i will get the insurance papers and teh RC/Tc of the vechicle after 25 days..its more than 25 days i am trying calling them up

    All, i bought i10 recently and i am very happy with all aspects of car. it has mind blowing comfort in terms of driving, interiors and all. i would suggest all not to go with the dealer issues as you would end up not buying a worthy car. its worth spending some extra money to buy a long term car. rather buying a car which serves you good for 3 or 4 yrs max and later becomes a headache. think 100 times before going for a car as it should be worth the money you spend, and i10 is surely good one

    i10 is like "eye on the car" perfect design and car,there is some problem in gear system and rest is fine.

    I bought i10 Magna, this is my first car, i enjoy driving it, its quite cool, but there a problem in petrol pipe, its so soft that usally rats bite the pipe very often and when i complain to Advaith there are few bunch of fools in service that they say rat loves only ur car, its most foolish answer from the service executive, Those ppl asked me to keep rat poison near petrol pipe, when i asked him to show where to keep the rat poison he laughs and says sir there is no provision to keep anything

    i feel it is over priced, still not proven about the mileage, please watch engine developed locally, for 4.82 lacs you will get sportz model , interior is good in beige, but cd system not latest ( do not have DVD/Ipod/usb.) rear leg room not so comfy. i am going for swift lxi. what do you guys think....

    well ! for such a tiny-car(smaller then spark)very poor mileage plus too expensive. also, so called 80PS at 6200+rpm ,which is impossible in normal used. For Indian! Comfort , Mileage & Service is must.
    those who were eyeing at i10 must go for maruti swife,splash or xink-1.1lt. basically-actually,hyundai car=v.poor mileage

    Dear Reader,
    I want to make it clear that don't compare i10 with Swift/alto or any other cars. Its different from the rest. Its small when compared to Swift. But the high position seat. i relax seat. Mileage (city 16+ & Highway 18+) is excellent. Its most comfortable car among all. i drove at a stretch 460km. NO fatigue at the end of journey. Hyundia has really worked regarding ergonomics, mileage, performance......Great journey with i10 era model

    Hi,
    that's an odd behaviour. that could be an isolated case or my case could be isolated also as before buying my i10 Sportz I've test drove 3 different i10, verna, getz prime. my dealer was happy to let me sit inside any car was in their showroom, touch everything and press every button :)
    I have no idea how Mq1 say i10 have old engine (Kappa!?!). My i10 sportz came under 4.4L, still I think it's little overpriced. Do some research in carwale forum and you'll get to know more 'bout i10.

    I too had a bad experience at Kothari Hyundai, Pune. The sales folk were ignorant about the specs. Techinal knowledge was very poor. They hardly had any inclination of making a sale.

    If this is the pre-sales service, I wonder how the after sales service would be.

    i fully agreed with misbehaving nature of hyundai showroom peoples. Yesterday I went to a hyundai showroom in Bharuch. During discussing about various models, I told in normal way that no car is giving space like Tata Indica..Immediately, the owner of showroom got agnreed and told me that in world no car is suitable for you other than Indica vista. He also told me to stop seeing any more models in his showroom.
