On Navarathri day i have booked the spark car.


they are very good in terms of service offered by GM. I’m fed up seeing more old cars on road so I decided to go for newly faced car.. I know these are old wine in new bottle or new wine in an old bottle, I don't know which one is correct, but I love a change.


Comparing this car to all small cars in India it is ever better car…and they giving us warranty upto 3yrs, that means how GM are confident about Quality..i think so...


but GM should reduce the car price amount around Rs 75,000 to Rs 1,00,000. It will be good. Becoz of these cost factor we are getting confused which car model and respetive to the manufactures we have opt to.

    You are right,For this product to be Value for money product, the price has to be reduced drastically.While your attribute wise review is close to my heart,the over all rating adds up to 3.1, rounding off, to 3 as against 5 given by you.You may wish to revise the same

    Hey Prashanth, Don't you think that's asking for too much? Reducing price by 75k to 1 lac? Then even Santro and Zen prices should be reduced by that much. Gurkanwal, can you please tell me what is so great in Zen and Santro that a price tag of 4 lacs (approx) is ok while the same is not ok for Spark. I am comparing the prices of the top versions in these cars. Please enlighten me because after reading the comments I feel either I have made a fool of myself or you guys are hellbent on Spark.

    A small car that is refined and road-worthy for city driving is the phrase that best describes in heavy traffic jams!!! And pot holes!!
    bought this vehicle in Nov 07 and still love the feel and drive of this car. I bought a LT model This is my second car and was chosen for the city ( bangalore - synonymous for bad traffic). I had decided for this car after the test drive of Wagon R, Santro. Both the WR and Santro have a bad dashboard design that look outdated. WR looks old and boxed. Santro

However, the engine pick-up speed is comparatively slower than the initial excitement it manages to infuse in drivers: zero to hundred comes at 15.93 seconds as the force is delivered with less of a vengeance as required, when full passenger capacity is reached and the AC is on, though overtaking may require a switch into lower gear for smoother performance, i'll warn you. on highway it can meet Honda civic but this is small c

    I met accident and recovered through Reliance Insurance. The amount is around 40,000. Rs. at that it was clocked around 200 Km only!
    My one and only dislike about this vehicle is the low drumming noise that is produced on rough roads at high speed!! Ha ha ho ho He he he he ….but I love it he he he…
    Due know after repairing at service center spark covered about 2500KM in and out city. Without any hiss!!!

    Even if you are driving in fifht gear and reduce the speed till 20 kmph, car doesnt stop. That
    Overall it is good vehicle if you are not the typecast Tom Dick Harry.
    These have Sequential Fuel Injection because of which you need not the gears frequently, further if you remove your legs from the accelerator, it won’t knock & stop but would continue rolling (which normally is not with other cars of the same category)

    hi samiullah, why you spend more money 90k..please check the new car that is TATA's new Vista...somethingnew and so special and wheel base and ground base clearance is high!!..please don't look any car models which is 3 yrs old..go for new models provided by any car manufatures.
    my car spark chervolet is so best in its class in the year 2007...i don't like to keep any cars which is beyond 5yrs...i will sell it and go for new...but my car spark chevyy it is allready won my heart.......

    spark is still very cosy car vs what they offer.

    what ever, the spark car it is a compact car. if u don't like thn pls go for optra magnum i think it is reincarnation of opel. maruthi swift the incarnation of maruthi suzuki esteem engine, well first of all research your self on comfortable, budget, engine, mileage and satisfication then buy it man. what u decided & no one can alter u my man. once i selected my spark car he is small king to u but for me he is my Emperor in my city & optra magnum (electric) is Emperor on Road(road king).

    buy only advance 16valve engine like pc P4 advance than Pii processos . maruti zen/wagon-r has 16valve (4valves per cylender) even spark/i10 n all have old 8/12valves per cylender. benchmark-honda city.vtec has 16valve. more over at 2010 only 16valve engine fit to run like cityZX has 8valves discontinued. don;t buy spark/uva/xink/i10/logan/city.zx/old maruti.800/old gets/maruti dzire petrol/omni/any skoda/xeta/marina etc

    A-star & Swift r much much better & best to drive 170mm g'clarence less. it should be 190mm/<190mm for indian potholes at all metros n.d to all.

    ritz, suck low on quality,low on power,low on vfm,
    low on style,low on fe,low on stability,low on g.clearence,low on leg room-fr.,on dash techo is -ve part,

    only + is its new to road in other words not seen on roads may be less sold or people not liked it.

    since max. reviews r ag'st it. go for well tested swift/a-star may be sx4.

    my spark car is running for almost 1.5 years and covered so far around 20,000 kilometers!!!! without facing any hiss of problems....on rainy day, winter, summer days , hilly sections, village roads and on spring days it is running exuberant small car I ever had!!!     Dear Ani77...swift petrol car is not good at all...they are waste...if u want swift then go for Dieasel versrion they are very good as engine is improted from spain FIAT manufaturer,, due know that swift engine is nothing but incarnation of maruthi ESTEEM's enigne ha ha...well man.

    i'm spark chverolet owner telling you one thing i love my two car maruthi 800 old one 94 model and chervolet spark 2007 model they are very great great in small cars in INIDA!!!!

    hey due know new maruthi estilo car...WOW ..really great car man!!! i love ZEN car vary much...and baleno car tooo.. i don't know why they stopped productions...dear middle class community please check chervolet spark, new maruthi estilo and decide which best suits very well...both cars are very good..i'm telling in terms of long road usages, less maitainance, good mileage, latest engine version, good value for u r money!!! maruthi --3 cylinders, chervolet spark 4 cylinders check it man!!!

    good. buy more,one for every family member. it has no resale value. it has euro2 we need euro3. very old engine like maruti800 & omni.

    avoide 8valve & 12valve cylinder m800/spark/u-va/santro/i10/xeta/ritz/omni/logan/dzire(p)/accent/getz/ikon/cityzx/etc...............

    The Esteem at Sai Service,Lower Parel......with the executives sayin its one of the major Esteem crashes they've cum across.....the vehicle slided beneath a moving truck and the results are too be cn......Both the guys luckily survived...

    In Mexico, the Matiz was introduced to the market in 2003. The 2006 model was renamed to Pontiac Matiz G2. It was also sold as Pontiac Matiz and Pontiac G2. In the Dominican Republic it is sold as the Chevy Spark. Also sold is the Chery QQ.
    In Colombia, the Matiz was imported by Daewoo distributors between 2002 and 2005 and then GM Colmotores began to assemble and sell it branded as Chevrolet Spark. In 2006, a taxi version called 7/24 was launched.

    In Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Panama, and Uruguay it is sold as the Chevrolet Spark. In Perú it is sold as the Daewoo Matiz.
    In Paraguay, it was initially sold as Daewoo Matiz, but from 2008 it is sold through Chevrolet dealers. The M300 version was set to begin sales in United States as Chevrolet Spark beginning in 2011.

    your knowledge about maruti/hyundi. car maybe a littlebit good but notenough.i like your comments that maruti car 90% goodcars & hyundi cars 90% badcars but u have no info of spark whichis going to discontinued fr. march,2010 in present form/version. u must gain some knowledge about 8valve/12valve & 16valve-systems or SOHC & DOHC-SYSTEMS & also r-hand-drive/l-hand-drive style since spark is basedon left-hand-drive-pattern. look its electrical-switches,oil-lid,exhaust &underhood

Huyndai, Maruthi Suzuki and other manufacture cars will be stopped and it will enter new generations car for the new generation people!!! my car chevy spark is SOHC eninge. and 8 valve tooo..Electronics fuel injections.spark's new will be BEAT it is completey hybrid car and having more than 1400 cubic capcity of engine

    donn't buy spak from today,save your money and also avoid LPG & CNG as option. completely no to the gas. you can save environment by regular servicing of your car mean better fuel combustion & lower pullution.
