I'm not sure, but VXi wasn't there in 2001 - it was Altura & Std till 2003. VXi came in 2004, I suppose. Or may be I'm wrong.
yes pankaj it was only 1 model at that time but if u see the features of after the 2003 model than this one becomes vxi as it has all the features, so thats why i told vxi.

No, there's a vast difference in the features of Std. & VXi. Check this/link.
Anyway, Std., as stated before, will fetch you Rs.2lac.
The prices mentioned above are approximate & if sold to an individual - if to a dealer, it would fetch around 25K less. This (difference) stands true in all cases/cars.
By the way Deepam, in the lighter sense .... I'm rather surprised that you don't know your own car (version / features).
i know, mean i mentioned baleno & not baleno altura so its understandabale that it is a baleno only, if it would be altura than i would have mentioned baleno altura. at that time in 2001 only 1 model of baleno was coming & no vxi or lxi, due to its heavy price maruti than introduced lxi & vxi in 2003 & vxi has just some exteriors features but for interiors & its features vxi & std is same ecept those alloys & rear spoiler, so i told it is vxi, because whenever i tell to people about my car, 1st question they ask is it is vxi or lxi & no one knows about the std model so i just tell that its vxi.
