i have been observing very much about the Honda Siel India Limited ( HSIL) i have to agree with the point that the Honda is a very good reliable company and cars last for years!!
but recently am not liking the Moves done by the Honda!
Firstly to start with the CRV , the CRV was very good loking earlier , but one year back they got the facelifted version which looks like a Frog , i personally dint like the looks of the new CRV at all! and moreover they got the 2.0 litre petrol engine but unfortunately they ditn slash the price!
next - the introduction of Civic E variant and discontinuation of the S variant which sold very well , and soem features which were present in the S varaint like Alloy wheels vanished in the E variant and again the pricing remained the Same!
next - the Accord ,they call it the 8th Gen Accord , the 07 model Accord was too good but they launched the 8th gen Accord in India probably around last year end! i have to agree that this mdoel was there in other countrries too , so they had to bring it here , but strill styling has been worse!
Lastly the Upcomming New City , interiors are too good like the present civic but again the styling has gone , i again dint like the Front grills , it really sucks! but rest all seems to be fine!
right now only the Civic's styling is too good fromt he Honda stable!
SO many of these moves have made me to open a thread regarding this! please pour in your thoughts guys!!
Hi Sri..well i agree wid u abt the Crv.....specially abt its engine....leave alone the stylig n looks.....cuz we r not d only ppl to comment on it....different ppl different choices....wid Honda..."change" is a constant !....
bt yes....d engine part....i must agree... ur discussion abt d Civic...dat too is cent perent true....
bt in case of the Accord i disagree.....i think d LAtest Accord looks even better than the previous......i m not sayin d revious one was not as good as the one right now....its had a lovely backside (no pun intended)...had never seen such a sporty rear !...n one cud easily c who copied it.......the Sonata Emberra as weel as d new Camry did hav a "GOOD LOOK " at d Accord's rear while makin der cars !.....
bt yes....dat was den.....Honda's latest Accord is also a nice one !..i mean i like it !!..dey dared to do sumthing different ...n according to me ..it looked pretty good !

i vividly remember ..."PSv" an addicted member of carwale(just like us) used to ask us abt which car to buy n stuff (last October) ..n he took a testdrive of the Civic n was totally smitten by the Car.
also abt the Civic....hav u guys seen d Old Civic ?...well it gud hav been called a nice car 10 yrs bak....... it was long "cryin and howling" for a makeover......!!!

bt once again abt styling i wud stay.....maybe it doenst look good at d 1st site.....bt den ....Which car except the current look of the Civic won r hearts right away !!!!.....
i vividly remember Honda City lovers screaming " kya kar diya HOnda ne " wen d new Honda City came...... wid names like "daddoo shape" n "Powerless".. it did take time to b accepted......bt soon it became d best seller !!!...
i m guessing history wil repeat itself !!
