Now, I am confused. Sri, you suggest that art leather from G-Sport is good. On the other hand, Pankaj thinks different.

The vehicle has beige interiors, and I will be driving with 100% A/C. What would you recommend.

leather covers tends to heat up the interiors quite a bit...ART leather ie..artificial leather seats do so to a lesser degree, 'normal covers' - cloth seat covers are the coolest and the cheapest and also looks the part too, i guess the better way is to choose the ART leather cover for about 3.5K, it can be covers or 'fitted' where the original covers are removed and the replacement put..this provides a better fit, i guess the company 'saddles' have a good range and are little cheaper to the 'g-sport' ones.

Hi Manoj , i dont think the CS petrl is a good idea to buy , coz main problem is tata;s aftersale support , and i had a tata indica petrol which gave me lots of trouble but diesel is somewhat better ! if you intend to buy a petrol car then why dont you go for soem good one , myabe the Swift the i10 or Dzire or WagonR??

In entry leevl Sedan Dzire is best option , LXi is availble for good price too say around 40 - 50k rs difrence from Indigo CS Petrol ( GLS)

Hi Sri,

Dzire lxi is around 1 lac costlier ex-showroom than CS petrol GLS.......also there is obnoxious waiting time of 5-6 months.............further, i didnt find it that comfortable for 3 ppl in back seat as it is same as swift.......i-10, swift & wagon R rejected due to Hatchback type..i am getting a  sedan  in similar price though it may not have all the features......so CS petrol is more or less the correct choice for me...

Can u tell me abput safety & warranty aspect of fitting the central locking, music system & other accessories from outside.............. thx

Sri,

I heard fitting of central locking, power windows & music system from outside would need tempering with the electrical wiring of the car and can lead to void of warranty.........Is it true???

Pankaj & Sri, My xeta's compressor is replaced and now a.c. is working fine. In last 3-4 days i got daily calls from Tata regarding service and a.c., I got an invitation to join a get together tomorrow evening at goldrush sales & service.
