Alto Lxi Vs Spark 1.0 PS

Am a Spark user n when it comes to my opinion (already covered over 10500 kms. since november 2007), Go for this little chevy..... I will rate it better than even i10 ... Spark is Value For Money as comapre to i10, one who drives knows well.

Almost all the small cars i have used wagon-r, santro, xeta and Ride quality of Spark is far better. Mileage.. .Spark is giving me atleast 1.5 to 2 kmpl EXTRA.

Pick-up .. Spark is better, Braking ... Spark is better, Only point is Service support.... and if service centre is there then go for this little chevy. Spark is too fast.. fast n really fast..... day before yesterday i was driving over 140 kmph on highway.... very very smooth run.

I Have compared Parts prices too with maruti & hyundai n spark is cheaper to maintain.

I feel Santro Ging is over priced. Also not fuel efficient as Alto. Spark is beyond my reach eventhough it is my dream car. Even after discount it is 3.65 lakhs in banglaore for metallic. So i am 95 % inclined towards ALTO which is fuel efficient, has good resale value and very less maintainance.  Also most of the time i will be driving alone.  occasionally my family will accompany me for shopping or weekend parties.  Reading the Xeta Experience of Sri Vish, I am deadly afraid of  buying Xeta. and by the way first i will be buying car then start learning it and will get a DL !!!

hmm.... yeah alto is a good car and its in ur budget... but spark is having an offer, here in newspaper First Birthday Offer.... spark ps @ 3.08 lacs only. dont know the price in ur city.. i guess this is delhi ex showroom price.

yeh thts why i was forcing him to put his extra bucks and get the spark! , it wud just be around 35k rs more for the saprk PS more than alto lxi , morever the resale opf spark would be around 15k rs more than alto tht means he is paying around 15 - 20 k rs morwe for spark , alto is a bit underpowered with Ac on , in a bit upward regions , spark is good

I recommend Spark ahead of Alto - notwithstanding the discounted price.  But  I differ on resale aspect - Spark resale value is lower than Alto's.  However, if the ownership is going to be for 5 years or so, one shouldn't bother about the resale value.
