Based on whatever was shown / displayed about Suzuki Splash on Delhi Auto Expo (January, 2008), can some one do the comparision for Splash, i10 and Spark? It's being said that Splash is being jointly developed by Suzuki and GM...sounds really exciting!!!

Well, I'm not sure about that. Splash will first be launched in the European market by Spring 2008. Suzuki is expected to start production of the Splash in India only thereafter.

It is expected that Splash will be equipped with all the safety features like Energy-dispersing frame, Airbags, ABS and Brake assist in addition to Electronic brake force distribution. Electronic stability program might also be offered. But all this will surely come at a premium price.

I am planning to buy this car but there is a lack of information. Maruti has launched it in Europe from their Hungry plant but in India they do not reply any query.

If you enquire with dealers, they hardly have any information except on cars they are currently dealing in.

As of now, Maruti are expected to start production in India by the last quarter of this year. I don't think it will be available before 1st quarter of 2009.

As far as I understand, WagonR will continue - Splash will be a new model.
