mod for alto

I own a maruti alto lxi(year 2006) & has done 7000kms.
Since i feel the power is too less considerin d 800cc engine,I wish to upgrade to bigger engine,to preferably that of maruti's 1.3litre esteem or a 1.6litre baleno.Is it possible to fit in any of the above mentioned engine's ?If yes,where are the used engine's available,and for wat approximate cost?Can a k & N air filter and a free flow exhaust be installed in d new engines ?
How much wud be d increase in power(in BHP) after having fitted the two things mentioned above?
Where wud i get d air filters and free flow exhausts?N for wat cost?
I also want to know where n for how much i'd get ultra low profile mag wheels n tires,n wat is d maximum size of rim tat can be fitted in my car.. ?
N i want to change d bumpers n add side skirts and spoiler to d car to lower its stance,where r they available n for wat cost? Even body claddings tat are attached on d existing bumpers would do,where can i buy them from,n at wat cost?

I suggest the above option will take ur money & time ,dont go for it ,even RTO is not permitting this

yes u Can put (k & N air filter (Rs 3500) and a free flow exhaust (Rs 7000) in d new engines ,which i already did

I Cant specify u the exact bhp ,but u can feel the freeness in the engine & throttle response

Dont go for more than 12" alloys (neo & aura has good designs),and the tyre width 155/65/12(good year tubeless), if u try bigger size definitely it will touch the body while taking sharp turns & suspension & steering becomes hard

MGA provides spoiler(Rs. 8500),side skirts u can get after market ones ranges (10000 to 20000)

 

That's good.  Regarding Alloy Wheels & Tubeless Tyres, I would add....

Alloy wheels are basically for good looks. Good quality alloy wheels are lighter than the conventional steel ones, and therefore, may slightly improve mileage, performance & braking.

Tubeless tyres go well with Alloy Wheels. Wheel/Tyre size should be restricted to the company recommended size - 12 inches in this case. Bigger tyres will affect the ride quality & suspensions of the car.

Thanks for that wonderful response. Indeed very interesting to note that you have done those modifications to your alto. On that note,
* any update on the FE?
* how has the handling been since you have made the modifications?
* without disc brakes, have you felt that the extra bhps have become a problem?
* do you use low profile tyres to get more road grip to balance out the extra power?
* where did you get the air-filters and the free flow from?
