GEAR SHIFTING PROBLEM IN MATIZ

I OWN A MATIZ CAR AND I DONT HAVE MUCH PROMLEM WITH IT. EXPECT FOR THE GEAR SHIFTING AND HORN PROBLEM.

Dear Rajkumar, Show the car to some good mechanic/workshop and ask him to check the clutch-assembly and gear-box. Horn can be replaced if its not working or wiring etc can be checked.

i hav da same prob wid gear shifting n horn.i showed it to a mechanic he said nothin can be done .gear shifting is prob wid matiz.

If you find problem in 2nd Gear then it is manufacturing defet from the company only. Otherwise you need to contact your mechanic.

But can that manufacturing defect (2nd gear) not be resolved, or is it because spare parts of Matiz are not available?

Like Rajesh mentions, its a manufacturing defect and therefore it cannot be resolved. Although they say that by using steering oil (in the gear box??) it becomes a little better. Yes horn also, at times, gives me a problem. But, for these 2, Matiz is excellent!

One thing I like about Matiz in particular is that, though it is a small & cute looking car, it is designed in a way that it is spacious & comfortable.

GEAR SHIFFTING VERY HARD. LOW PIC-UP IN AC.BODY IS NOT GOOD.
