Alloy Wheel Selection - Swift VXi ABS

I have purchased a new Swift VXi ABS 5 days back. I want to go for alloy wheels for my car. Swift VXi comes with standard fitting of R14 wheels.

I will be going for 4 new alloys and keep one of the original tyres as a spare. Should I go for a R15 / R16 wheel by reducing the size of the rubber portion alongside (i.e. Big Alloy Wheel & Smaller Rubber Part) or shall i puchase alloys of R14 itself? Which alloys will give better comfort?

Please suggest name of good alloy wheel manufacturers and a place in Mumbai where i can get a variety as well as good quality of alloys.

I would like to thank Anurag for answering my previous question.

Hi,
i would suggest you go in for 15" inches, that will look great on the car and it wont affect the ride quality too. if you go in for the 16" you will have to go in for low profile tyres which do not give proper cushioning to the alloys due to which your alloys are always at risk of cracking.
You can got to milan subway in santacruz, there are many shops there which have a good variety of alloy wheels and tyres. And yes they are negotioable so dont forget to bargain :)
