I have a Maruti 800, the windshield of which i got replaced from an authorised outlet a year ago, but the new windshield gives me a problem of poor visibility during rain coz of misty layer formed on its inside, which is sticky and can't be wiped of easily, even if i keep the window open (i didn't face such a problem of STICKY LAYER OF MIST on the earlier one). i have to wipe really hard to get some visibility?
Though in clear weather the visibility is fine. Pls help!

Dear Mr. Singh, If you have air con installed in your car, regulate the air flow to the windshield which should solve the problem to a great level. If this does not help, we suggest you get it checked with an authorized dealer or talk visit the showroom of 'windshield experts', they are the best in business and might give you suggestions that you wont find from many an experts even!

First of all Mr. Singh a piece of advice for you that one should never ever wipe off that misty layer with anything; hand, cloth or paper, It leaves a pattern on the windscreen and then doesn't take much time to become misty again especially in the area from where you wiped off earlier. The best way to remove that is by switching on the fan at top speed directing towards the windscreen, turning the temperature knob towards red, it won't take more than 30 mins to clear everything up provided you have an aircon in your car. No problem with the windscreen.
