Gov, Please ensure that you are getting car out of current production and not from some old stocks. Have a PDI before registration. I understand all inclusive benefits is around Rs. 15k (not like before) and but I don't know whether it is applicable on GLX

Hello!!

Today got an update from the dealer saying that the vehicle is going to be delayed for 10 more days.

More worrying factor is that today I read the news that "GETZ PRIME will be faced out soon" an official news from Hyundai in DC paper. Can some one help me to understand the challenges that I need to face other than 'resale value'?

Thanks again.

Regards,

Gov

Hi Gov

U still have time u can transfer the booking for an I20 or cancel the booking which will cost u around Rs 2000 only.

As it is a slow selling model ,a petrol and soon to be out of production the resale value willbe average or poor.

It is totally upto u now.

Take feed back from other members also

Gov congrats, in my opinion you are lucky enough to get escaped from the 'Getz'. Strech your budget a little and go for i20 1.2 Magna.

If you are looking only for sedan, i guess the options under your budjet is limited to Tata Indigo and Maruti Dzire Lxi. Accent Executive also comes near your budget, but i guess accent also face the same fate of Getz soon.

Still my opinion is to go for i20 Magna.

Sorry!! i am looking for Hatch not for Sedan.

Regarding I20 worried with power and rare seat leg room. Otherwise a good car in all aspects.

I would like to take TD of I20 once again, for little longer trip and will think.

How about Punto Petrol? will it compete with I20. Dont want consider Vista, Swift & Fabio.

Thank you,

Hi

U can go for Punto Diesel which comes at the same price tag of I20 magna

Punto rear seating space is similar to I20 but the rear seat is more comfortable due to good rear seats and handling.

You mean to say in I20/ Punto?

For me I guess Diesel may not match as my daily travel expected to be around 25Kms/ day & 1000 KMS high way trip  in 2 to 3 months.

Thank you

Hi

In Punto it is more comfortable. But legroom is similar to I20

Why go for a petrol when u can get a diesel at the same cost.

U can opt for a diesel as u have considerable amount of daily use and heavy highway travel even though in 2 to 3 months. All these factors make u eligible for a diesel.

The Fiat diesel is the international award winning engine which is used in punto, linea, swift, ritz, swift dezire and vista in India and many others abroad. The running costs and maintenance cost are also cheap and almost similar to petrol.

I will let u know a small secret I have booked a Fiat punto on 28.I was in the similar position as u i20 or punto petrol.Test drove the diesel punto, fell in love with it and booked it.

Comparision
