Hi Karan,

Among the options that you are considering, I don't really think that Honda has any car left in the discounted prices of Civic Hybrid. At its original price, its a waste of money.

CIvic looks dated now, a modified civic is expected in the third quarter this year, its better to consider Altis if you want an option in this price range as well.

Nissan Teana is again a nice product but you are still not sure about the future of Nissan in India, therefore better avoid it.

Accord - It obviously seems a great buy mainly beacause of its killing looks.

Camry - Again it seems a sensible option as this car has been doing very well globally and it should be an ideal option for your overseas clients.

New Superb - I took the TD of this car yesterday and it really looks a very promising package. It has more features than Accord at a very competitive price.

Ovedrall these are the four cars to bank on at the moment.

Altis, Accord, Camry, Superb.

P.S - Honda has increased the price of Accord by Rs. 1L, from 1st April'09, so better buy it before that date.

Thanks to all of you who took time to answer my doubts and queries.Well I think I should go for following models:

1.Accord

2.Camry

3.Passat

The other two models in which I was very keen are Teana and Superb, however I am not sure about the looks of these two models.Specially the looks of Superb which I believe looks pretty much similar to Skoda's other cheaper models Octavia and Laura?

Can anybody tell me the looks of Teana?

Thanks to all of you once again for being paticipative in answering my queries.

The Teana is a non looker(guess the worst rather sterile looking) of the D segment cars.

The superb does offer excellent value for money though(even better than the Accord).

The Camry is simply overprized.

The Passat has been riddled with reliability issues since launch so be careful.

OK Here are my final list of selected sedans:::::::::::::::::::::::::::

1.ACCORD

2.CAMRY

3.SUPERB

I am not going for TEANA and PASSAT as most of you have shown concerns about the reliablity , dealer network and post sales issues.

KUDOS to all of you who helped me in deciding the sedans of my choice.

For the time being I will stick to above three models and wait for some new models in 20-25 lakhs segment sedans to be launched.

Let me know if new models are coming in this segment that is D-CLASS.

Dude,

I would place the tie between Accord and New Superb. Accord looks awesome. Superb shares a lot with its siblings. Still the features makes it a wise buy. Maintenance anyways is almost same for both.

Please avoid posting in BOLD. It is not looking good.
