Maruthi Alto LXI - 12/2006 model -scratch less condition - how much i can code.they r saying 200000/- is it reasonable or
Hi, How many km's have the car covered? where as i think according to the model, the price should be in between 150000-170000. Dont give 200000 for a 3 year old Alto
If you can tell me which city are you from and how many kms has the car clocked. I can help you.
on road price in ambala for brand new alto LXI is 275000 ..maybe this info helps in decision..
2 lacs is too much then. But how many kms has the car clocked?
2 lakhs is good enuff price to buy!! i think lxi will cost around 3 lakhs on road atleast coz ex showroom of lxi is around 2.70 evrywhere!!!
Here is the CarWale Used car evaluation tool-the same estimated for a 20K KM running average over 2 years.
If the car is in good condition the same should be had for around the 2 lac mark.
Hey Sunilkumar just change your city and kms accordingly. If your not in a Mumbai 2lacs is a bit high, even though Alto has a great resale value.
@Binoy:You are refering the carwale used car experience but this is my 1st hand experience.I evaluated my brother's car in Carwale.com and it showed me price 3.85 Lakhs for a good esteem vxi car 2006 model. When I took the car to real dealers/buyers, maximum they quoted is 2.15 Lakhs, despite the excellent condition of car.It seems that carwale shows values without considering the prevailing market conditions. They shouldn't be used for benchmarking.
Thanks for the concern.
-as i am in no way associated officially with the car sales or other bussiness oriented aspects of this website i cannot comment on the validity thereof or the lack of the same regarding the 'Used car evaluation' tool.
-the same was referenced here as it is a service that is available on the website(and apparently used by many people).
-i never 'benchmarked' anything by giving the link-only pointed out the trends/possible price ranges.
-its for the individual user to decide(as you have done) to sell or not to sell the cars on CarWale.
Regarding 'value evaluation' i shall bring the same to the officials notice and their opinion on the same expressed.
