Dear sanket
In almost every vehicle we have 300 watt free energy available by alternator (when vehicle is running not in stopped condition) 12x24 Amp I say because there is any one mfr which sells 300 inverter for cars which gives you 230 V/300 watt energy power to power laptop/others like refrigerator. My point is that can it be very simple if we can rotate turbine by using 12 V low thickness axial fan.
This is my thinking only it may or may not be practical. I have a drawing of such product which use axil fan turbine to be fitted in intake of air manifold to push more air while normal working without any power. It also use magnet to charge oxygen molecules.

Dear Girish'

What you said is practicle, infact currently available in the market. They are termed ass power airflow devices. Look like cut out of a drainage pipe with a fan in it. I hope you are getting a picture of what I mean to describe.  Do email me a few of ur designs at sankyp@rediffmail.com . And man, maybe u can fabricate a few pieces on some old cars, try if that works and bring out something in the market that is muchmore affordable than the tuning kits available. All the best.

Kudos to your spirit-here is a link for some idea

but do note that the taurus uses a lombardini diesel water pump(used in south africa) as an engine!

-so turbocharging that engine will not bear much fruit.

-the cost of conversion will work out costlier than the bike itself.

But please do prove me wrong and go ahead with the project if you are really passionate-will be able to help you along the way!

Turbo charging the Taurus will be difficult. But thats the challenge and hence can be taken up as a project. Well u will have to really make a turbine light enuf to rotate with the minimal force of the exhaust. A chain/belt driven supercharger wud be easier to fabricate. Even that will be worth a project.

Turbo's come in different sizes and shapes(variable geometry and constant geometry) for different engine applications and are individually tuned for that particular engine, hence there are no common variables that turbos operate at.
