Simarpreet,

Getting your car converted to LPG is all dependent on how much you clock per month. If your running is high, then it certainly makes sense to go in for LPG since it will lower your running bills.

Good LPG kit makers are Stargas, Lovato etc. They are available with most big LPG installers.

LPG wont really harm the engine in any way, infact, the engine life can increase t a certain extent.

1. yes ... it makes sense to convert any petrol car to LPG incl th optra 1.6 .... irrespective of whether ur running is high or not so high

2. try closed loop system of ...... BRC .... Lovato .....or .... Zavoli ..... all leading italian brands ... remember not all brands r authorised for all cars ........ so check with th fitter if that brand has approval for optra 1.6

3. just find th best fitter in ur city ..........there will neither b any abnormal problms ..... nor any harm to th engine

Which is better kit out of BRC or Lovato?

both r over 30 yr old highly respected international brands from italy.... both r excellent per se .......... however th following factors make th key difference to a car owner .....

1. th fitter .............unless th fitter is a professional .......even th best brand cannnot give performance

2. in all kits .... only 1 or 2 key components r from that company .... th rest r all sourced from elsewhere ... mostly indian ..... it is th quality of theses other parts ... which plays an imp role in th overall performance as also safety ../. again since th kit is supplied by th same fitter ... who is going to fit th car ... so his credibility becomes paramount
