Whether to buy second hand car

Dear Team,

I have a capacity to spend around 3 lacs. I am planning to buy a second hand hatchback car so let me know whether it is advisable or not to buy second hand car. Also, let me know the following things for the better selection of the car that it should have.

  • Which Brand
  • Which Manufacturing Year
  • Approx Kms Used
  • if any thing else

@Stuti - why a used car for 3 lacs? The new hyundai Eon costs less than that (delhi, ex-showroom), so can be had for 3-3.3 lacs at the most...

Petrol or diesel? How much do you run per month?

If your requirement is for petrol car, you can think of a new car by streching the budget a little bit. Petrol cars are coming with lots of offers now a days.
